Around 20y ago, this beat was made. Look how different Mac looks backs then. I loved that MPC. The Nextel era. Bleep up. I remember “The Line Up” JR. Writer and the Diplomats on that record. Love that piano and beat mix. Still can’t place the piano composers.

@Allious Unknown Heatmakerz has never been a “super producer” He’s had some good placements which, at the time probably made him good money. Nowadays I’m sure his rate is a lot lower. There’s a video on KZfaq where a guy contacts a bunch of big Name producers and gets rates. Scott Storch is asking for like 12k now, so that should give you an idea of where the climate is.

I naturally upgraded to the MPC 4000 but it didnt have my heart like the 2000XL I fr had dreams about that 2000 before I bought it_like destiny I had to have it the 4000 was a beast but_i barely used it as much_then Ableton came_ but I shouldve kept it for nostalgia & midi controller for drum racks
