This video is one of my favorites☺️ Love the way you share some of your daily live with us ❤ and your lovely Mama joins in again. Could you maybe make a video on sayings with قمر? Recently someone told me in Arabic something similar to شايف القمر، meaning that he has seen me before. Would you mind explaining for us? Would appreciate it. Lots of love!

Thank you for being so positive all the time and for your hard work making these videos. It's super hot here too in Florida and always humid but we're lucky with having A/C all day. I know how it is to be so hot because when I lived in Philippines, my grandma would turn on the A/C for only an hour so we could sleep then turn it off as soon as we dozed off, but we would wake up right away since we were soaking in sweat >_< haha

You are super welcome ❤️❤️ I know that it is also hot and humid in Florida, I had some students telling me. But wow! I didn't know that about Philippines. It is so sad that some countries have to suffer this way :( I know the feeling 😅 we get the power for a few hours the whole day (maybe 4 max). Inshallah things will get better although there is no light at the end of the tunnel yet ... So much love and respect from Syria&Lebanon

Thanks Rana for those great videos. I am impressed by them. This is like watching a film with the proper subtitles. Most Arabic films use subtitles in MSA which are very different and do not show the actual words. Levantine Arabic is a dialect quite close to MSA but the pronunciation of words is quite different, so the best way to make progress is to listen to them over and over and read the Arabic script at the same time initially to compare their pronunciation with FusHa. For me the most difficult words to recognise when spoken in dialect are the words using ق (e.g. قدر) without pronouncing the ق. ! looking forward to watching more of your videos,

Thank you for your comment 🙏❤️ I believe your difficulty is everybody's difficulty.. I prefer to pronounce the ق in words I feel there is a difficulty for others understanding (even Arabs). So it is not an issue but of course it needs more practice 💙💙

You have complained about living conditions in Syria in one of your videos, right? Thanks to you Syrian government decided to double the salaries of workers in the public sector. I read a aljazeera article. But people dont seem to be happy because gasoline subsidies are gone......
