@@theladyprincess I only recently discovered the books myself as well! During the pandemic. I have read some twice now. All nine for sure and half of them twice. I am reading the Lord John series now which are some of Diana’s side stories to Outlander about the characters. I have also read The Virgin which is another side story. The reading of all of the books should keep you busy for quite a while!! And then I go back to watching the shows over and over again as well! I cannot get enough of this beautiful love story. ♥️

I highly highly recommend getting the audiobooks too. Davina porter is the narrator and she does an incredible job, it literally feels like you’re listening to the cast act out the book

Maia Organuh I have had the same reaction. I purchased the entirety of the seasons, and occasionally go back and watch again, and now I wait for the 6th season, after the first three of this Season.

This show puts you in a different state of mind it lifts you up ....whether your feeling up or down it affects you just the right way... I 'll watch it in between other movies so I won't feel like I'm watching it to much...then I may go back and read one of the books ...no shame I love this show ...and love watching Sam and CAITRIONA protray love ...they do it so well .

I've watched each episode over & over each time. It's just the magic of Outlander & the phenomenal cast. To say I adore this masterpiece is putting it mildly. So heartbreaking the new Starz program director doesn't get it. Saw the writing on the wall when Starz announced there was a new person taking over the role. Read thru Kathryn Busby's comments & knew immediately she would put an end to this magnificent series. When she mentioned, she would like to see more diversity, that put the nail in the coffin. Fine, incorporate other shows, she didn't have to axe this one. It had to be said. The pity of it all, there's the elephant in the room. Would say Kathryn B will be in this new position at Starz for a year or two, then she'll move on to some other place. Very poor decision to bring her on in this capacity. Kathryn will sashay off to another streaming service. So many people with gifted talent will be gone & there is an opportunity for more to be incorporated into series beyond Season 8. Did read that Kathryn B said all the word salad, how much she liked Outlander. Also inserting, she would like to see more diversity in shows. That's when I said, there it is, we are going to lose Outlander. And that's what happened. Heartbroken Kathryn was put in this position. She's making a major impact. Then like poof, she'll be history. If it wasn't for the continuation of Ellen & Brian's story (Jamie's Mom & Dad), I would have cancelled Starz after Outlander ends. Can guarantee it would be millions of other households leaving Starz in the dust also.

@@rosalynmartin3171 agreed. I don't feel guilty about the number of times Ive gone back to the beginning. I listen on headphones while working and of course I sneak peeks at my fave scenes. I've read all but book 9 three times. Not embarrassed to say Ive listened to all the seasons well over a dozen times.

He said it himself as Jaimie ... And Jamie & Claire are in Love...not Sam and Catriona! They are BFF ...best friends forever and the chemistry between them both was always super...otherwise you can't play for such a long way like this !!!

His micro-expressions are EXCELLENT! His face in season 1 when he falls off the 🐎 and she wakes him up by pouring liquor on his wound and he stares at her in wonder-in the book it’s when Jamie realizes she’s the one-his future wife. He thinks of his father who told him he’ll know and he says he knew when he saw her at the moment and she’s chastising him for passing out 😂

I will never forget the scene when he brought Claire to the stones (in season 1, not before Culloden) so she could go back to her times. He was overall smiling to her but there were few nanoseconds of sheer pain on his face when she turned around. That was devastating to watch.

Of course it is all staged and by the preduction company. Do not blame the actors, they had no input in this. It was forced by the production company for reason to keep the fans interested in outlander

Staged by the production company, yes, but still there is a passion for what they do and a connection between them. I'm sure they had no idea that outlander would receive an international welcome. What a great reward for their efforts (and for staying in the game, because, up until outlander, the shows or films they were in weren't great vehicles... But back to these staged interviews, I have a friend who works at Good Morning America. When I found out Cait and Sam were going to be on (promoting season -5) I jokingly asked him to say HELLO for me. He actually grabbed them back stage and got them to say hello. They were so sweet about it, caught off guard and yet pleasantly accomodating and generous.

Heartbreaking but true, they can't stay. The new Starz Program Manager saw to Outlander's ending. It's all on Kathryn Busby's shoulders that we are losing our beloved Outlander. I for one am heartbroken & furious.
