Jesus suffered so much that He died too like we human. But all His sufferings was rewarded by our Loving Father Supreme God for being so obedient to the Will of Almighty Father. And this is what Jesus wants us to do. To be obedient to the Will of Our Father, to Love and seek Him above all things and love our neighbours. It is so easy to read these words but it is so hard to follow if you are so attach to this world.

It's sad but at most of the Novus Ordo Churches you won't hear homilies about Hell or even Purgatory. That's why I'm attending mostly an SSPX and some other Latin Tridentine Mass Churches where you'll here homilies on Sin, Hell, Purgatory and that Salvation IS NOT AUTOMATIC🙏🙏✝️

Father You must speak and we should listen, practice what you are saying and share this words of wisdom to fulfill our duty as an apostle. i do not consider myself an apostle since there is much within me that has to be purified but I feel that by doing my duty, I will be purifying some of what has to be purified. In heaven we want to love as much as we can. When you die, your ability to love is fixed. So purgatory is simply about purifying any imperfections. You do not grow in love. You do not grow in merit. You do not grow in holiness. That is all fixed when you die. All that you are doing is being purified of anything that is not of God. So why wait? God wants you to love as much as you can. So that is what He is looking for from us. Does everyone receive God's love? No! You can only receive the love of God to the degree your heart is open to receive it. God loves everyone infinitely but I can only receive to the degree my heart is open.

I miss hearing Fr. Altier regularly. I listened to him years ago and then he was rather silenced and then discovered him again at St. Raphael's and now in this new assignment, I don't think her sermons are online or if they are, I hope someone lets me know.

@Trisha Perry. Hi Trisha, I never believed in Purgetory either & looked for it in the Scripture's when l was a Protestant. However it is a Latin word, as is Trinity, so you won't find it in modern Bible's. It means to purge or cleans. However l wanted to be sure, so l prayed asking God to reveal to me His absolute TRUTH!!! Matt 5:17-26 Matt 12:32 Luke 16:19 & v 26 Luke 23:43 I Cor 3:11-15 Heb 12:29. Also:- Ii Maccabees. Which is in the books of The Bible that the Reformation decided they could throw out as untrue, although the Church's original teachings had them for over 5 Centuries. Through prayer, fasting & study of the Apostles & the early Church father's it was revealed Protestantism, is a very watered down version of religon. Not the full Truth of Christianity as layed down for us by Jesus Christ himself & His chosen Apostles.

One rule to remember is Jesus Loves you and forgives you but that DOES NOT mean that you don't have to pay for what you have done. Forgiveness does not mean that punishment has been eliminated. You still have to suffer. I have done the examination of conscience and although i have never killed anyone and never robbed a bank i have broken every one of the commandments. If not for Divine Mercy I would be in a lot of trouble. Divine Mercy is the ONLY WAY to be free from punishment that you deserve. I'm not aiming for Purgatory, I'm hoping I at least make it there.

For everyone who is so happy about this sermon because you all think you are going to heaven, remember this... Even though forgiveness is given in confession, ALL that stuff you did still has to be Punished. The punishment is not forgiven. You still have to suffer for everything you did. Confession may get you out of hel l but will get you into purgatory. You better memorize that chaplet. Every time you think angrily about someone it is a Mortal Sin just like murder. Its not a little mortal sin. Sin is Sin. Also, if you are a mean person and have no one to pray for you, you will be in purgatory a long long time Unless, you pray the Hail Mary and She Intercedes on your behalf. She is a Woman with Power!

In my view, one's place in the afterlife is a "state of mind" as Pope Benedict wrote in CH. 9 of the Dogmatic Theology. If a person has learned to forgive everyone and no longer holds any grudges, hate, resentment, etc. and "loves" and thus has a "clear conscience," that person will go to Heaven. Purgatory is leaving this world with still some work to do on these things but with hope. Hell is total loss of hope and carrying all these hates, resentments, blame and lack of love.

The evil one is really pissed off with Father Altier talking about the realities of Heaven, hell and Purgatory that he is sending a tornado 18:24 . . . Well, I better pay attention to this talk!!!!

Nobody can get this life right - it is impossible. Why would a loving God who stands for love and forgiveness cast anybody into eternal torment? It is completely at odds with the essential message of Christianity.

I go to mass each and every sunday and never...never does the priest in the homily...mention hell or heaven and purgatory is not in the bible...

The problem with an approach such as this man has put forward is that it is fundamentally inhuman and would lead to despair if not toward our own salvation at least toward that of each other because applying his standard would simply keep everyone out of the kingdom of God that we meet each day imperfect people who in spite of their selfishness sometimes come forth with astonishing gifts of Hope and self-sacrifice Jesus told us that where sin abounds Grace Super abounds he is closest to the Brokenhearted not to the complacent or those who are so sure about who is going to hell that they make Even Heaven the private Country Club of the perfectly righteous who like this man know all the rules who know how to bind up loads to place upon other people's shoulders until you can love people as they are you cannot love them at all because the Wonder is that while we were still in our sin god loves us

If Christianity, Christ and the Bible are the only true religion… why are there so many other religions?

You are avoiding the obvious to be saved one has to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and the Holy Spirit will lead us in all Truth . Catholics are not promised Heaven , only a purgatory that does not exist . No one can work their way to heaven our own self-righteousness is like filthy rags before God .

I am a Catholic, and I m very proud of it. But we need to change and move on. We need to go ahead. What is purgatory? Where is it in the Bible? No where. But we can find it easily in the Virgil' Aeneid! Yes, we find Dido walking away from Aeneas there. So should we all pray for Jove, Juno and Minerva? Apollo also? We should stop saying that a place like Purgatory exists. Also Hell, come on, it is the Greek Tartarus. Jesus came to save us all, to save us! Not to send us to Roman and Greek dark and hot places :P
