This song...Wow...RJD said it was about Jimmy Bain and his heroine addiction... But the back story.....Well..that makes even more sense.... The song is about Ozzy...His promises to reunite the original Sabbath line up...Which always seemed to happen when Ronnie was asked to join or return... Try this on once..and listen again... "You Remember me?...I can make you disappear..Be where you want to be...Just as long as its not here" ....(When Heaven and Hell was released...Nobody cared Ozzy was gone...It was a new life for Sabbath...There was no controversy as to who was better back then) And then.... "Well I'm back!..and I'm stronger!...And the first ones always free.. (legalities concerning rights to the name and royalties etc...A Black Sabbath Album without Ozzy earns Ozzy and Sharon more money than it would Ronnie ) But it lasts much longer..you can bet your sanity (Ozzy always exploited his own insanity..Ronnie intended to end his career with Tony, Geezer, and Vinny...To never leave this band again no matter what Ozzy did) and then.... "Never more!..The Victim Cries..as I slip..beneath the skin..Like the Shadow Of The Wind! (Ozzy usually portrayed the victim in his songs...Ronnie was the victimizer in his...And Ronnie was the only real threat to Ozzys legacy with Sabbath...30+ years later the debate continues among fans) and then.... "if words had names like Red and Green..or 2..for sympathy...Black and White and in between then...you'd paint misery".... (Ozzy did paint by numbers when recovering his motor skills after his stroke) again.... "Everyday is an inquisition...Who are you?..What are you?..Why?.... (reference to Diary of a Mad Man Lyrics) and again... Im alive...I belong ...I'll be back...Its a half truth and a whole lie........ (Ozzy's repeated promises to return but without total commitment..short lived reunions )

This is the greatest song that Dio/Iommi ever created! It's amazing! Tony Iommi is a super-talented genius and he still had it after 50 years. He creates such an incredible heavy feeling. And Dio does an incredible job! He creates a great mood with his voice that totally fits Iommi's playing. And Appice and Butler always laid down a very heavy backdrop and rhythm. These guys were fantastic. I saw them twice in 2008 and it was incredible. Iommi played EXTREMELY loud and Appice's drum solo was incredible. I loved it. I prefer Ozzy over Dio but Dio/Iommi made some great records, too. The song "Heaven and Hell" is also a one of their greatest songs they made. I prefer this over Iommi's "Fused" and "DEP Sessions" w/Glenn Hughes. I don't think Hughes fit well with Iommi...Iommi could have chosen a better singer, imo. I always wanted to hear Iommi with Klaus Meine of The Scorpions who had excellent pitch and tone. This music gives me so much pleasure...
