Clint was my idle since ~ 1967, when I stayed up late one night W/my late Mother to watch the "Night of the Grizzly". That movie was my first exposure to Clint Walker, I admired the character he portrayed in the Night of the Grizzly, a humble hard working family man and gentle giant. Yes, he had a profound positive influence on my life. Over the years you never heard of any skeletons coming out of the closet about him, another attribute that I respected about him. When I heard it on the radio sitting in my pick-up truck at 4:50 AM (I was waiting for the gym to open), I confess I got a lump in my throat. I thank Clint for the cherished memories he's given me over the past 51 years. To his wife and family, your husband, Father and Grandfather was o good man, and rare especially in today's society.

A very good example for many and without the scandals that plague the world today. Thanks for all the years of enjoyment. Enjoy the next adventure.

This was a mans man, he made being cool a lifestyle. He was a man that said what he meant and lived what he believed. He said he wanted to be remembered as a good man, sorry Clint, you were no good man, you were a great man. Too bad more of Hollywood didn’t follow his example. Thank God for reruns, maybe the younger generations can still benefit from this man. The best part of Clint was he didn’t need to act to play his role as an honest man, he just had to be himself. He will be missed.

Death is such a hard thing on human kind. We see it. We're surrounded by it. We never think it will happen to us, but it's just something we must deal with. Anytime someone famous passes away, we're reminded of places we've been, things we've done. Movies we've seen. Its particularly hard when we happen to like or love a certain actor/ actress. Clint Walker was by definition, the quintessential example of the consummate actor. His talent for acting was simple. He was just being himself. Nothing more, nothing less. Hollywood loves a big man. Clint Walker was that and so very much more. Its actually hard to deal with him being gone. Like many kids of that era, I grew up on tv shows, like Cheyenne. It was a decent all American tv show and Clint Walker made that show believable. His no nonsense oh shucks type acting was so natural it was hard to separate the man from his characters. He was that great, but often underated. No one wants to say goodbye. Its frustrating. Even difficult, but I suspect Clint Walkers spirit is now resting with the Lord and that he now has peace. I pray for him, his family and friends that they also find peace. He was a good man🐎
@SteveBuchanan14476 жыл бұрын
One of the last great male role models for young boys. I was too young to see his shows except in reruna and syndication. He was an upstanding, decent , honest and made no excuses for being a man and standing up for himself no matter the odds. Make Our Lord welcome you into his arms and may you rest in eternal peace. I hope I run into you someday, Clint and we can talk about the olde days. God Bless your Family in this time of sorrow.

He was always my “hunky hero”, right up there next to Tarzan!!! Such a great, great man…not your typical Hollywood stuff they gin out these days. We’ve just about lost all of the GREATS!!! I hope that Hollywood will SOON GROW SOME BALLS (pardon my French) and start bringing on a new generation of heroes for our kids and grandkids, and quit spewing out fictional, bloody crap with ABSOLUTELY NO STORY LINES AND NO LESSONS LEARNED. I am ready for feel-good movies where the good guy wins and families are nice to have around. Not too much to ask, right??? Like Elvis sang in his ‘68 Comeback, “If I Can Dream”. You just gotta listen to it…a CLASSIC‼️ (Another great man who loved God, his family, his friends AND never forgot his roots‼️)
