I think this layout is how all keyboards should be honestly. It makes that you would never have to take your right hand off the mouse to use the arrows or numpad (assuming your mouse is in your right hand), you just move your left hand up to use them. Plus you also have the added mouse space for games, no arrows or numpad on the right taking up that space.

Solid stiff plates are a bit of an acquired taste. But I have really come to like my Clueboard. For those not familiar, the Clueboard has 3mm plate integrated with the top housing. So a very solid stiff typing experience.

Such a sexy and stiff build; you could say it’s a “brassers” board 😏 In all seriousness, I really love boards with the nav clusters and numpad on the left side. Easier to access without your hand leaving the mouse, plus more mat space for us fps players without sacrificing those extra keys! And of course, welcome back! Always great to see you popping into the recommended feed dude 😄

Boards like these really encapsulate the playful nature of this hobby in such an endearing way. Sometimes you just blow hundreds of dollars on an incredibly heavy board for the hell of it, added onto the fact that its got such a wildly different layout that clearly isnt trying to "change the game" in any incredible way but is also so absurd that you cant help but love it

That's a super heavy keyboard you got there, very interesting. Left number pad is very practical for my cad/excel work where I need to constantly move the drawing and fill the data in excel and this is a great solution. I use a tkl and separate number pad that I place on left but could be an alternative. Great video

Wrist flexion, or bending your wrist so your palm faces your arm, can cause medial nerve compression and develop or exacerbate carpal tunnel. Negative typing angle is ok as long as it isn't steep, and this looks like regular typing angle. Flat is best from what I read, because you don't want to maintain flex, extension or deviation for a long period.

Really really enjoyed the vid! Reminds me a lot of the Idabao ID80 (granted that was integrated plate rather than top mount, but with the thick brass plate, it’s probably the same kind of feel). I was shocked it was only in the $550 USD range. makes me wonder if engineering the more complex mounting systems is what really drives up the price on some of the other customs that have less expensive materials.

@@TaeKeyboards Sorry for the late reply, been busy, but the last left handed keyboard I tried a few years ago was a DSI with Cherry reds I got used off eBay as it looked interesting after a general late night mechanical keyboard search, and I lasted about 2 weeks of on off use between it, and my IBM KB-8923 on my work PC (I use it to not annoy my clients at work with the noise of one of my other boards), but with the left handed DSI out of muscle memory when I would reach for the arrow keys/numb pad while not looking down I would use my right hand, and bump my wireless mouse off my desk, and it just got annoying, so I put it back on eBay a few weeks later, and sold it on, and unless I need to do some spreadsheet work, or I'm on one of my tablets with a Logitech K480 then I'm using a ten keyless board to bring my mouse closer.
