Bro they are 700 to 1000 cc bikes...so thats not illegal and the road tax for Harley would be almost 50k to 1 lakh and how much Road tax you are paying for Royal enfield ..just 5 k or 7 k

@@vivekreddy2008 how does it matter if the engine displacement is higher or the road tax you are paying is higher? All that matters is the permissible sound limits. It should be same for all two wheelers. There will be a threshold, a maximum limit in dB.

1) I agree there is a law to curb noise pollution but there has to be a proper system, the authorities should have equipment to ensure the exact decibel level and if at all it exceeds permissible limits the challan should be sent on line to the registered address as per RC allowing the owner reasonable time to pay or else face other legal action. Stopping on the roads without proper equipment is mere high handedness. The rider also could be in a genuine difficulty and hurry. 2) law cannot be applied selectively, what about the officer not wearing his uniform cap , does he want to show off his hairstyle to the ladies around? Or is he feeling hot and uncomfortable with the cap on , in that case he should resign from uniformed service, moreover taking liberty with the uniform is lowering it's dignity. Moreover, I have seen police personnel riding without helmet etc or armed forces officers and other officers parking their official cars in no parking zones with the driver waiting nearby while the "memsaab" does the shopping at leisure. Will these cops act against these HiFi defaulters? Law cannot be applied selectively.

Bhai is hisab se to har bike ki exhaust modification band krdeni chahiye just because bullet name h sabhi thodi noise pollution karte h. Illegal sabhi bikes k liye hona chahiye kisi ek bike ko target karne se bhi toh noise pollution khatam nahi hoga. 1. Heavy horns used in car and bike 2. High watt lights used in car and bike 3. Heavy exhaust used in bikes not only in ROYAL ENFIELD. Bhai faltu ki hype bna rakhi h or kuch nahi h. In 3 points par dhyan Diya Jaye tab sahi tarika se police ka kaam maana jyga yaha ye patakhe baja k dikhane se koi pollution khtam nahi hota 👍🏻 Love from Rohtak.

Bhai, I have 1977 vintage model 350cc RE bullet. Whenever I take my beast out, I will be stopped and harassed by police even though I have all valid documents and original company fitted silencer with smooth Thump. I respect the police and law but this is something unprofessional..Royal Enfield always rocks 💪

Its really a big problem....especially royal enfield. Police should should take strict action and cease the vehicles or else they have to be given 2 days time to change according to norms and present it at police station.
