Heavy downpour on Monday morning caused a lot of damage to life and property. Various places in the State were flooded due to the heavy rains each year. ‘Smart City’ Panjim was submerged in water as Patto struggled to cope with incessant rains. The roads, gutter and the underground subway near GMC Bambolim are flooded with knee-deep rain water. The flooded gutters have already injured one.
