can i ask why the round bar instead of flat really looking at a project like this for a steel drum bbq but trying to find ideas to incorparate it will be a smoker and pizza overn at the same time

I gave up on grilling and learned how to pan fry or broil instead. I got tired of buying a new grill every year because of the cheap racks that even the most expensive grill has. It's clearly a planned obsolescence marketing scheme. It's obvious what the consumers want in a grill but year after year all the manufacturers offer is junk. I'm not cheap. I'll pay whatever the cost. Wish somebody would build a grill that will last a lifetime. We can put a man on the moon but can't build a grill that lasts more than a season.
