Something doesn't compute here. You started off with a loader on wheels driving onto your trailer, then ending up with a loader with out wheels. Were they the same loader? Would have been interesting to see the entire loading (and unloading) process.

Same load. Wheels were removed after loading.

I saw the biggest landfill compactor Cat makes (936) get delivered once. They used a crane to lift the machine off the truck so the wheels could be installed. Is that how this was done,or did they use jacks ? And to think, that had to happen at pick up, and delivery. That would be interesting to see.

think we are getting a loader just like that, but i hope we can afford the wheels also, that looks not very practical ;)

I was wondering if you could tell me what your axle spreads are, truck and trailer. I run the same axle setup but you always seem to always be way heavier, GVWR, than I ever haul.

Another great video Uncle Sergei may I ask why the tires were removed from the loader is it something to do with height restrictions ! You took professional shots with your new camera !

dave allen to move this machine with wheels on, you need to have a BEAM lowboy trailer. otherwise it's too tall. bridges are expensive to replace. also, i think the dealer (canadian buyer) was trying to save on the price. CND dollar is much cheaper than USD right now, so they probably buy tires and wheels in Canada, from someone who stocked them when the exchange rate was more in Canada favor. BTW, each wheel/tire assembly on this 'baby' weighed 1,600 Lb; when they took all 4 off, I became 6,400 Lb lighter!

This is a scrap/waste handler machine. It will have solid tires and these are usually procured locally by the dealer. Sometimes the customer who is purchasing the machine will swap over the wheels from the old machine because they are interchangeable if they are staying with the same size machine.It would be interesting to see the wheels being removed. Everyone does it differently.

What? what did I just watch? something other than a 950 being hauled back to Canada. Why did they strip it? I've never seen them strip a 980 they do it with larger loaders.
