What revenge? Just scaring him? He'll take the glasses off and it'll be over. This effect is not much greater than punching Blake in one mission

personally smoking mirror is worse by far. sure, jayden lives to the end of the game. but jaydens not shaun. shaun is the biggest contributor to *ANY* sort of happy ending. plus blake is implied to succumb to the addictions jayden did. theres still some sweet in this bitter ending. if shaun dies, that means ethans dead. (or will die if he survives but shaun does not). madison ends up going insane if she survives but shaun does not, and last of all is jayden. who is completely in utter despair over the death of two innocents and that a killer is still on the loose. hes dying a slow, painful death, and most of all carter blake is walking away scot free. probably going to piss on jaydens grave while hes at it. so my worst ending combination is: helpless (ethan), either dead heroin or square one (madison), smoking mirror (jayden) and depending on whether scott lives or dies is the worse ending: unpunished (scott lives and goes completely unpunished) or a mothers wrath (scott dies, meaning all playable characters are dead).

@@tobyalder42 if only it’s that’s simple, human mind is far more complex than we expect. Even though he removed ARI, his own mind traumatized to the point that it will haunt him for life. ARI is only a trigger, his own mind is the entire magazine full with bullets that might go off anytime.

@@AlvinAnakMudaGameandfun It's not his mind, it's only the augmented reality of the glasses. It requires to use the glasses for a long time to get mental problems

Paiiigee Norman is my favorite character in the game actually. Even though I had to get him killed and got this ending several times (I had to do that so Ethan could get permanently arrested in On the Loose cause I didn’t feel like replaying Fugitive just to get Ethan’s two other endings, Innocent and Helpless so I could earn the trophy), I felt bad every time I saw it. I consider this ending his second worst only cause he died over the course of the investigation already. I consider Smoking Mirror his worst because he’s sad and guilty over Shaun dying and I consider Resignation his best only because he lets go of ARI and Triptocaine and I see his now being without a job an obstacle he can move past with time. Redemption doesn’t happen overnight; at least he’s trying. (Heroes reference, did anyone catch it? Does anybody even watch that show anymore?)

well, no. scott shelby is the most important character in heavy rain, considering the fact that the game revolves around *the origami killer* (scott). ethan is a victim to his trials, norman is investigating the origami killer case, and madison is trying to get evidence that ethan is the origami killer.

I agree. I was thinking same when I got Norman crushed to death by Mad Jack in my gameplay and ended up with this ending.

This shit medicine is really fucking good. Police guy: Come on, that’s dangerous.

N.J was truly the best character. He was even more sympathetic than Ethan's wife (ironic since they both lost a child yet acts as if she is the only one).

Why does everyon hate Carter? I get that he is the type of cop to smash a window and claim that it was already like that but what makes him so hated?

(i know it's 6 years ago but i still hope that you'll read my message) there is an ending where Norman retires from the FBI, in order to get it Norman shouldn't know where Shaun is, to do that, press X to close ARI then choose "Give up", but Ethan and/or Madison should save Shaun in Jayden's place, then when they saved him and killed the Origami Killer you will get Jayden's retirement ending, even though i consider Norman's ending when he retires only as good ending, but this one is the BEST ending in MY point of view, and there is an another ending where Jayden dies but this time he survives until the Epilogue, to get it NO ONE should find Shaun's location and then you will see that Jayden died by overdosing the Tripto, THIS is the worst ending for Norman

@@EmperorOfChaos in the chapter "Nathaniel", after Norman asked him some gentle questions Blake freaked out by scaring the crap out of Nathaniel, the player could press X three times to tell to Blake to stop, but he wouldn't, no matter how much you try, he will continue, he even beaten up Ethan's psychologist, but that's not the only thing, he even thought that Ethan WAS the Origami Killer, and if he gets arrested in one of the two chapters, and after Norman finished questioning him in the "Arrested" chapter, Blake will freak out then will beat the crap out of Ethan, when the thing is about Shaun, Blake will ALWAYS beat up someone, even an innocent, he is nothing but an ARROGANT I***T
