Enjoy this new Black Screen Very Strong Rain and Heavy Thunder Sounds for Sleeping composition. I recorded the whole session earlier this year in May and stayed in a little apartment close to the French border in the Black Forests in Germany. On my way I always dropped some audio rigs, when I knew that I Thunderstorm was approaching. Sometimes the weather forecast isn't always accurate, but this time I was really lucky.
I really hope that all of you can fall asleep to these recordings. By the way I never told you this, but with all of my sleep sounds I connect to various beautiful memories of feelings, situations, smells and of course noises when I listen to them.

I used to take my kids out on the (covered) deck with me at night when it was pouring rain, put them on my lap wrapped in a cozy blanket, and just sit and feel it all. If it was daytime, I'd get them in warm clothes, raincoats, and rain boots and we'd go puddle stompin'. Didn't matter how wet or dirty we got, none of us cared, just enjoyed it. I sure miss those days, but this video reminds me of those times and I thank you for that and for helping us all SLEEP. Thanks to all for the kind words in the comments, they do make a difference.

Anyone that makes these take note. The black screen is the cherry on the top. Most others the screen stays lit which somewhat defeats the purpose. Also 10 hrs is a requirement. Any less and I wake up when it goes off. This is outstanding for assisting in sleep. Thank you for creating it. BTW I'm 63 and grew up in northeast Oklahoma so this is comforting in multiple ways.

This makes me remember a summer where I was working on a camping place here in Sweden with over 10 thousand people staying there and living throughout the summers. One night there was a record breaking thunderstorm, and me and two of my co-workers were watching the lightshow out on the ocean from the beach under roof in the dark. If I remember correctly there was over ten thousand lightening strikes that night all over the east coast of Sweden. It was awe-inspiring to watch that out on the ocean and the memory always soothes my mind. Listening to this takes me back to that night every time and helps me sleep.

For some reason this reminds me of when I used to laugh and feel joy, hope and love. I recall a mountain vacation in a rented cabin on the covered porch facing a bubbling stream located close but sharply downhill. My daughters laughing as they came and went through the screen door during the storm. There was a time when young at my cousin's house in the country, a few of us were a mile deep in the middle of an enormous empty field and a sudden thunderstorm forced us under the lean to of a barn. Stacked with hay, the earthy sweet smell of hay and fresh hard rain moments after starting the refreshing of dry and tortured soil was seared in my mind. The crack of nearby lightening strikes, the sound beyond thunder made us scream, until we begin laugh for no apparent reason.

You do know that thunder is sporadic in nature therefore real thunder is actually “here and there” thunder. I bet you’ve been vaccinated 3x too 🤦🏻‍♂️

@@robh5601 nature wise, you are correct. But psychologically, constant thunder noises are better for sleep than spaced out ones. It keeps a feeling of steadiness and calm. Also, stop bringing vaccinations into this.

Fell asleep in 10 mins. That's NEVER happened to me before. Even with sounds it take an hour or more, I also woke up in the same position I fell asleep in, which also never happens. Since I found this 1 the past week has been "real" sleep. Thank you, thank you, thank you❤

Great real sound, not tinny like many. I'm lucky, I have a flat roof above and when it rains its like being in a tent, so clear, lovely. Don't often get rain tho. Finally found the best rain & thunder audio. Thankyou so much Edy.

Edy, you are truly a genius. This video, the one with rain and thunder in a tent and the one with rain and thunder by the cliffs of a gently flowing lake are pure relaxation. I thank you and my Bulldog Buddy thanks you. 5 minutes after putting one of these on, Buddy is snoring peacefully and I'm right behind him. The only time one of them is not playing are those nights we actually have a storm going on outside.

@Pure Relaxing Vibes I listened to this thunderstorm and rain soundtrack. And I boosted up my window ac with it's cool temp air. I slept peacefully. Also, thanks for that black screen. I wish that everyone here gets a rejuvenating and restful sleep this week. I forgot to mention that I also walked for 2 hours and that exercise helped me sleep like a rock last night.
