We need a better plan ... we need the recognition that practices in the past are ineffective and funding amounts inadequate and that climate change is real We need government to listen to the experts... they ( scientists, fire authorities and locals) tried to communicate with this government who declined to listen The Royal Commission will paint a damming picture of failure ... Australia has paid a huge price the scale of which is yet to unfold 😔

The difference between the lady with the umbrella cringing and squealing as she hops down the street to get out of the rain, and the guy on the balcony above her whose just standing there with his shirt off smelling the air and taking it all in.

My mother passed away when I was young. She loved to sit on the porch with a cup of coffee while it rained. I also love doing this now. After she passed for some reason I counted how many times it rained. Its been 26 yrs so I've lost count now lol, but I will always love the rain. Thank you for the video. ❤

I hear ya mini kattails. I'm from Memphis Tennessee and we have beautiful thunderstorms. I'm enjoying this from OKC Oklahoma. We just had our 1st tornado last nite 3 blocks from my house. I was sitting outside enjoying a good lightning ⚡ show when oops the sirens went off. It was a confirmed F2 on the ground. Yikes

This is so-far No1 for me. Over 60 years ago sweets and chocolates weren't in abundance generally and i had tons of siblings so I shared one big room with 2 other siblings, so I'd hide pieces of chocolate in small cubby holes in that room, as soon as it appeared to me a storm was really, honestly closing in, I'd race to my stashes, bomb down the stairs, climb into my dad's Chicago gangster car, this is in deep countryside in UK, so assume my dad bought this flash car of the 30's, poss 'Coup de Ville'? Ordered in from US airbase not even a minuet away from our front door really! I'd open up the back door, lay down with a blanket or coat on and enjoyed the best show in town as the piece of chocolate melted! Pure bliss....😁⚡

i remember as a child, whenever it rains heavy with thunderstorm, dad and mum would let me and my big brother sleep in between them and would spoon us.. i always felt so safe and would drift off to the sound of rain and thunderstorm peacefully.. now 20 years later i never imagine this sound would bring back those sweet memories.. 🥰 Goodnight random citizen of the world!

I'm from Colorado and we were kind of supposed to get a storm today. After two mediocre claps of thunder and a few spurts of rain it was over. So disappointing. So now I'm listening to this with my window open but my curtains closed, so I can smell the rain and it's a little windy, but it's kind of dark. I've had to make my own storm. So thankful for this video .. I have ectopic heartbeats from constant anxiety every night, and this helps soothe me to sleep .. So thank you, from Kansas! P.S. My dad passed away November 2017; when I was a little girl, we would sit on the porch and listen to the rain to relax. The morning my daughter was born, there was a strong thunderstorm, and my dad was there with me, helping me through labor with the calming sounds of the storm. So again, thanks ... feels like Dad is here every night now 💕

I'm a medical student and lately I've been annoyed by the fact that I get distracted easily when Im studying (more than usual) This actually helps me concentrate more, it breaks the silence at night and works as soundproof during the day (I have pretty noisy neighbours). Maybe cuz I'm more of a winter person; the sound of thunder and the rain relaxes me.

I was always happy when the thunderstorm came, it means running around to light up the candles and going outside to the porch to wait for it to end. At that time, there was nothing else we could do but be peaceful ✌ 🙏 😌 ✨ ☺ 🙂
