I think a plasma conversion receiver for the gatling laser would be neat.

It may not be a popular opinion, but I actually really like the shiny attachments on the minigun. For me it makes it really nice and easy to see that the weapon has been blessed with parts from your mod making it look way cooler in game.

I think a gamma mod for the muzzle category on the minigun would be a pretty cool late game attachment for people who want to role play as a Child of atom.

For the minigun, there could be a 'light bayonet' made from the spiked muzzle of the DB shotgun or the large bayonet of the railway rifle

Would be cool if the Gatling Laser could get a receiver made of an institute laser rifle and give it the blue laser. Would be nice for an Institute playthrough :)

What about having an integrated tesla coil in the muzzle section that produces lightning arcs while spun up for the minigun (even though it would make more sense on the gatling laser, but adds more variety)

With the 10mm barrel you could make a slow fire rate high damage option similar to the rotary Gatling gun from Fallout 76, that would be pretty cool

I’d love to see a suppressor for the Minigun, like the one recently shown off at Shotshow.

A couple ideas for minigun barrels would be a late game gauss barrel that rechambers it to use EC rounds, and a mid game buckshot barrel that uses shotgun shells but slows the fire rate massively

I think mini gun can have the .308 ammo chamber. also if you can check the mod 'faction reinforcement' that would be great. That is a cool one

I actually really like the shiny-ness of the barrels. The vanilla weapon felt way too dull. I think it would work great with the VWR retexture

Heat shield is a good opportunity to add some AP/VATS bonuses.

As far as "Muzzle" attachments for the minigun, something that attaches more to the base of the barrels with some electronics/gas hoses that run to the munitions storage to add things like small amounts of enrgy/radiation/cryo damage by doing something to the ammo you load in before it is fired might fit

I have a personal custom barrel for the minigun that I implemented and I think is a great addition, a short tri-barrel. It is craftable in early-game, only has like one point more of damage per shot than the regular barrel, and not the same range or any great per-shot recoil advantages, BUT the lower rate of fire makes it just so much more controllable, the cone of fire doesn't bloom as hard, you don't fire as many redundant shot at a target who has already died. So it's a lot more economical, so it's actually a great option for the early game, because it means you can actually keep using the weapon for a little bit after Concord if you saved a bit of ammo.

Is there any chance you could add the laser sight to the minigun? Everything in this pack looks so good, you and pig are doing a great service to the fallout 4 weapons and I can't wait for this mod!

Love those chunky shields on the minigun, amazing how just the shape can take me back to the good ol' days of ripping a turret off the stand in Halo 3 and going wild with it. Pair that with the tri barrel and we're really cooking.

One thing I had an idea is something like the Assaultrons beam for the Gattling Laser. Just a straight beam that eats ammo, or the Half Life 1's Tau Cannon where it charges up for one big shot.

You could easily place the heat shield into the muzzle category as it is just a muzzle attachment. And maybe make a couple different variations just for aesthetic purposes. You could also do variations of the shredder barrel so it's a cleaner design or a drill design. You could also do what you always love to do and make a couple wasteland raider jury-rigged designs. Where it's a bunch of scrap metal and signs welded together. But all in all great work man, can't wait to see what your designs on the lever action rifle will be!

a couple ideas, the heat shield on minigun to increase time before overheating, fusion cell reciever for the gatling laser, a weaker version of the shredder for the minigun that's just a couple knives or something but available earlier than the standard shredder, Lorenzo's artifact focuser for the gatling laser, a gatling laser muzzle/barrels that make the laser be one continius beam instead of multiple seperate ones, a reciver for AEternus that makes it have reliable infinite ammo

Idea for muzzle attachment: Munition Heat Redirector As the barrel heats up, the gun does increasing incindiary damage per shot, capping out at maybe 15-20 damage at max heat. This would probably take both Gun Nut 3 and Science! 3 to make

Great work I love the Gatling laser attachments it was so lacking so was the minigun but I use the Gatling laser more. I love the call backs to fallout 1/2

First of all: Is it really not possible for you guys to recreate the Gauss Minigun? It could rechamber over the barrel section and i´ve wanted one sooooo bad since there are no really good mods for that. The amount of awesome work you guys pour in this is just unbelieveble and i just can´t wait to check it out in depth when its time to release that bad boy!

for the minigun, you should do a radium rifle style of irradiator for the rounds built into the barrel as a muzzle device or as a new barrel option. it'd be a very unique and versatile attachment and would look dope! in love with this mod so far and thank you for everything you bring to the fallout modding community! As for the laser sight on the minigun, you could make different versions for different barrels. Such as a universal laser sight that cover most barrels, a tri barrel laser sight, etc

On the muzzle section for the Minigun, you could add a "shroud" of sorts to place a muzzle attachment on the topmost part, going from the very edge of the receiver and ending in the center bit of the barrels, similar to the Gatling Laser. Another one would be a "Can Barrel", with a big tube covering the entire barrel with a single hole at the top part where a barrel could shoot through, and a muzzle bit there to reduce recoil in an unnecessarily heavy way. Also, a huge integrally suppressed barrel would be cool.

One thing I always found weird about the Mingun, as well as most Heavy weapons, were the ease of use with/without using Power Armor. So, if there were Attachement that are tied to the player using Power Armor, it would fix this Gripe of mine. Minigun Ideas: Endless Mag - Instead of a drum magazine, the Ammo is belt-fed to the gun, either to the armor itself or a backpack magazine. Irradiated Mag - Added Radiation damage, lower Balistic damage when using older Irradiated Ammo that would slowly kill someone not wearing power armor. Stationary Stock - Improved stability and Range when standing still, which fits someone wearing power armor. Movement Stock - Provides lighter movements and fire-rate, for run and gun action! In regard the Chambering in different Calibers, I think 10mm fits, when we saw it in New Vegas with the Lonesome Road DLC's Shoulder Mounted Machine Gun, but we also had the K9000 and FIDO from Old World Blues, using .357 Magnum and .44 Magnum rounds respectfully. So, having one or 2 other Recievers with those ammo types would fit(.357 could be .38 instead) but with a smalle Magazine and a much slower Firerate, making it more of a burst fire on each enemy, rather than Spray and Pray.

So excited for the mods release! Also, since there is a 10mm barrel, I could see a gauss barrel and a shotgun barrel lol

A targeting computer attachment that makes the weapon slightly slower and requires a longer "cooldown" (recalibration) period, but also locks onto any target you aim it at.

I'd say for the minigun muzzle attachments, maybe add a kind of floating rail segment underneath the barrel that you could add attachments onto, like lasers, flashlights, maybe even a "front weight" that reduces vertical recoil at the cost of weight. you may even be able to do some form of damage conversion mod, like a shroud that has greebles all over it and infuses the mingun with radiation damage or something

For the heat shield attachment you could use your laser sight with it which I think would look really cool!

This is awesome as always. I wouldn't be making mod recommendations if you hadn't asked: IRL, miniguns only fire the top barrel during operation, so a fixed muzzle device in front of that top barrel could work. You could mount it on a post coming from down the center of the barrels so it looks properly fixed in place. Device options could include a magnetic ring accelerator using Gauss or Tesla rifle assets, a plasma infusion ring using your plasma rifle barrels, radiation infusion from the gamma gun, or induction coil for thermal damage using the coils from the junk-jet electrification module. Also, the railway rifle "bayonet" (oversized hole saw bit lol) would make sense on the minigun because it'd literally be rotating at high speed. As for the Gatling laser, crazy idea, maybe a nightmare to implement: for a bayonet, add some piping from the body around the fusion core to a nozzle near the muzzle, and call it "forward exhaust vent". When you hit the melee button, you could have the player perform a short/sped-up firing animation, and have a green color-swapped flame effect emit from the nozzle. Give it a short range, real low chance of lighting enemies on fire with a status effect (I think some bayonets can cause bleed in vanilla, so that should be an easy swap...), maybe some rad damage and a slow cool down... I dunno, I'm just spitballing.

You guys gave the Gatling Laser the glow-up of the century, damn are those barrels sexy!

For miniguns muzzle attachments you could make options for adding elemental damage to it like radiation and energy. Energy would strap a battery pack to the minigun or something.

The only thing I can thing to suggest is to look at some retro red dot and holo sights from the mid 1980s and 1990s to add to. I recommend the bushnell holosight, it's crazy to think red dots and holographic sights for weapons go back that far in time. Delta Force had the best tools for their time.

Loving the Attachment Pack so far Dak! A idea for the minigun Muzzle, in Vanilla fallout 4, there is a unique minigun named the "Ashmaker" with Legendary effect (which you get from the Big Dig quest). The idea is that at the muzzle of the minigun with a small pipe that runs underneath the barrel and has a flame nozzle that points at the tip of the barrels, setting the bullets as they shoot off, causing fire damage and setting your targets alight. That would suited better for the Ashmaker minigun.

I have a great idea to go in the muzzle category for the minigun : the heat exchanger (it makes the minigun consome 1 bullet per 2 bullets fired at a very high cost in scrap to build it)

Only serious idea for attachments that that comes to mind is having visually different styles of shredders for the Minigun muzzles. No real need for stat differences its simply nice to have for visual variety since its a scrappy modification.

Looks nice, will have to download Fallout 4 again to try this out eventually. A sleeker military version of the shredder Maybe a double barrel 50 cal conversion for the minigun

An idea I had is a misc section for both that add some attachments that wouldn't be as visible,like tuning or changes to munitions for the minigun such as giving it explosive or even HP and all that,for gatling laser perhaps something with beam changes?

I cannot wait for the attachment pack to come out, it is the number one reason why I want to get fallout 4 on my PC, I already have fallout 4 on playstation I just need it on PC. I really hope that after you finish the attachment pack, you make one for fallout new vegas, cuz it would be absolutely amazing to see your skill of modding in new vegas

1 - For minigun muzzles, I suggest a steel shaft underneath the barrels, with a blade, or maybe just a sharpened/pointy end at the end, perhaps even a nifbash of the harpoon projectile. Coming out right at the junction between gun and ammo drum. 2 - Another mod would be adding an ammo backpack alongside the drum underneath the weapon, increasing the capacity before reload. Perhaps just a nifbash of the drum itself. 3 - Finally, how about a couple car batteries mod in the muzzle(?) section. Located behind the weapon or at the sides of the ammo drum, plus some wires, this eliminates the spin-up delay while adding significant weight. The components required literally includes two car batteries, some copper and adhesive. (Edit) 4 - Would it be nard to have the laser sight for the minigun coming right from the center of the barrel assembly?

Since the shredder is still the only muzzle maybe you could make a barrel that's ment to make the shredder better or add another damage type, like a hefty barrel that's heavy and in accurate but adds more damage and stun to the shredder or a heat venting barrel that focuses the heat from the barrels into the shredder and adds burning damage.

For muzzles on the minigun, you could add like a gauss upgrade? Maybe radiation, turn it into a gamma minigun?

The metallic parts on the minigun could just be covered with a Paint-Job. Assuming it wouldn't take all that long to slap one together, could even use the Weapon Skin Pack on the CC as inspiration.

You can put a non-moving geometry with the minigun-barrel. You just need to apply the same remap keyword that was being used by something like the "RemapNode_CScope_P-Scope", and have the geometry within a NiNode that is named CScope, and it will attach to the parent-node P-Scope.

So heat shroud, longer spin up but higher fire rate and accuracy. Gatling muzzles, you can have them add effects, (fire, radiation, knock back/stagger, etc) for reduced gun stats

You can put a huge spike or spear under the barrel of a minigun! Or a horizontally located "ripper" in an enlarged size)

When you get around to the Hunting Rifle and Double Barrel shotgun, you could add a wrapped stock for them like the recoil compensating stock for the Lever Action Also consider the following: Deathclaw claw bayonet.

An idea for a muzzle device could be a compensator shaped like the shroud of the shrouded barrel, but much shorter. and having slits running around the sides of it.

Honestly I feel like the shroud could fit into the muzzle category. In fact you could add in a bunch of many different barrel shroud designs. Maybe one that loons like those circular or drill heads that make circular holes. Dunno what they are called. I remembered seeing some manual tools that help take corns off the cob, those could work too.

Also multiple lasers on the barrels would be awesome like you showed in an earlier video

for the muzzle you should do one where its six silencers taped together put on each barrel, and for the heat shield, make it so that the minigun makes no sound, now you can play as a stealthy sniper wielding a fully silinced minigun

For the gatling gun you could add an advanced shredder with combat knives or machete blades; or add elemental damage with a high voltage induction ring, phosphorous sprayer, or a cryo mister...

Some muzzle ideas for the Gatling gun I have: Super shredder(a better-made version of the normal shredder that increases bash damage with either lessened or removed accuracy penalty.) MAD muzzle(standing for Massively accelerated destruction, the damage, range, and ammo consumption are doubled at the cost of poor accuracy.) Cryo-coils(stops your Gatling gun from heating up, giving much better range and accuracy, at the cost of damage, crits freeze enemies as well.) Feel to use any idea you like, if you like any of them that is. Thanks for the content as always!

A conversion that adds fire damage to either weapon and a flame effect would look awesome

For anyone checking this out post release I highly recommend three mods to go with these. The first is minigun improvement. It gives the minigun a reciever slot and damage caps out 54 (around the same as the Gatling laser)or so with just the HG perk. The second being the gatling laser ammo fix... it's entirely QOL but it's pretty nice not having 20 cores at half charge. The last being unique uniques. Trust me, getting ashmaker with UU and the heatshield looks bad ass.

A 5.56 or 7.62 barrel might be nice, call it the Avenger or Vindicator barrels as a callback to the unique variants in FNV. Also maybe a "flak" barrel for the Laser Gatling, where it fires slower moving projectiles but it gives off a small explosion on impact. Idk.

For the muzzle. A really big silencer, or a bunch of tiny ones.

the miniguns shield could use some alternatives using the gunners sight and the new reflex sight with said shield .... same thing with the functional laser sight once it gets added.

I mean, one thing a lot of people have wanted as an alternative to the Shredder is a drill bit. Big, spiraled drill bit. There are certain drills that have a large hole in the middle of them for material to flow through them, perhaps you could model it after that?

Mabye a muzzle for the gatling lazer that would add a small explosive effect but at the cost of lower fire rate. Pair it with the heavy charge barrel and you could turn it into a powerful lazer cannon or a rapid gatling gun that speads the love.

I think the addition of a beam laser mod, like Liberty Prime would be perfect for the laser gatling

Let's not forget that a minigun without ammo and with a shredder is a very powerful melee weapon. I think this concept can be improved with new bayonets with different statuses, such as poisoning or blood loss.

For the minigun I think it would be cool if there could be a Gauss charger to add energy damage or a heat spreader that can add fire damage to the bullets the hotter the gun gets. You could also slap on parts from the gamma gun to give it radiation damage. The laser gun I feel could get a barrel attachment that provides an energy shield that can ricochet laser shots back at enemies or from your own gun. You are definitely right with how difficult it is to find worthwhile attachments to these guns but I think these do a good job of rounding out these weapons to be more versatile.

Move the barrel shroud to muzzles, as for heat shield perhaps have it reduce heat time buildup to go along with the shielded barrel (that should also be moved to muzzles as the its based of the shredder attachment) . More types of shredders other then the vanilla cobbled together raider aesthetic one would be nice, perhaps even a shocking one. As for other minigun Ideas Unique barrel veriants that come on a set spawn much like how Kremvh's Tooth works in game. As for Gatling lazers perhaps a Pulse attachment would be nice.

For minigun u can add elecrified shredder that deals extra energy damage and buzzle brake for less recoil and spread u can also add a 5.56 barrel that deal high damage but very slow fire rate like charcing gatling laser barrel. For gatling laser dont know its posslible but maybe u can add laser beam barrel (like tesla cannon) that needs to 2 sec charce for shoot and every time u shoot drain 50 ammo from core and a flamer barrel
