A guy was killed where I live by a hauler tire, he was doing his walk around before his shift and there was a cut in the tire. He proceeded to pull out his pocket knife to put in the cut to see how deep it was, only him and God knows if he punctured it or it blew out before he punctured it.

Lots of people commenting on what would happen if a tyre blows. It's scares you shitless. I've had 3 in 40 years. One if the most dangerous are plastic wheel barrow wheels. Size doesn't matter every tyre is a potential bomb.

Not cost effective, these tires are a hundred thousand dollars apiece and when filled properly, with nitrogen, they are the major source of suspension, avoiding wear and shock to the other components of the truck. Solid tires wear faster and cause undo damage to drivetrains, chassis and operator's spines.

Adding on to the previous comment, solid rubber tires are also heavy as fuck. A solid forklift tire about 16" tall and 5" wide is well over 100lbs solid tires this size wouldn't be able to move with any sort of speed or fuel efficiency.

what the f*ck is going on here? 2 guys are trying to change a tire, and another guy is dropping said tire from his abnormal machine like he only could count to "fire truck", combined with severe ADHD. The rest of the dudes are just smoking and strolling around and some are just driving those huge ass machines like he was chicken racing the smoking strollers.
