You know, we had an Adza-Eʋe king in Allada (present day Benin), who took on the name Yesu in the 1400’s. This was long before the Dahomey invaded and took Allada in 1724. We also have people taking on names in similar form: Dasu(The serpent deity is sufficient), Sosu(The thunder-lightning deity is sufficient), Hosu(Money is sufficient), Husu(Blood is sufficient). In fact, after the king who took on the name “Yesu”, his successor took on the name “Dasu”. These names inform us of the spirituality or belief systems of those who took them.

@@nakobetayo-1461 Greetings Brother! I hope all is well with you and akpe for your response. To answer, it is very easy to understand when you realize that many of us here in the United States have been separated from the knowledge of self through severance of the umbilical cord that connected us to Africa and particularly Eveland. It has been through the teachings of our beautiful sister, Seyram Adzanku, that I have been able to take the steps to reconnect and this has indeed been a blessing from The Most High. As for the name, Ahmed means worthy of praise and Hadi means one who guides. These are lofty goals to aspire to and in order to attain these, one must definitely submit one's will to The Most High in order to be the vehicle that these attributes, which are solely His, are able to manifest. In this regard I have much work to do. However, I think I would rather carry this name as a reminder than say, something like James Smith, which are attributes of the European rather than those of God Himself. At the end of the day, it is just a language called Arabic. I am no more "Muslim" than I am a "Christian" or "Hindu" or any other religion. And my prayer is that my intentions, my actions, and my submission, will allow me to do what The Most High intends for me and that I be named among His chosen people.

Seyram, I'd like to remind you that, long before anyone in Accra/Tema ever knew or heard of the word ''Lashibi'', there were Lashibi settlements or towns in both Anyako and Aŋlɔga in the Volta region bearing the name Lashibi. Lashibi has mainly been the settlement for the Kleviawo or the Klevi clan. Whenever members of this clan visit Aŋlɔga individually or with their king from Anyako-Lashibi, to Aŋlɔga, Aŋlɔga-Lashibi is where we mainly reside.. Ask your mother about this. Tema-Lashibi is rumored to be for the Kleviawo who captured it in a war.

That explanation of "Joseph" being given a coat of many colors by "Jacob" and how it ties into Hebrew Israelite culture and traditions in Ghana wear the Man makes all the woven cloth and a cloth of many colors means "Royalty" ... and how "Joseph" being given a coat of many colors ... signifies "Jacob" knowing "Joseph's" dream about his family bowing down was true... therefore "Jacob" weaved a cloth of many colors for "Joseph" signifying his royalty. Only Allah's (swt) TRUE Chosen People (West African Hebrew Israelites) can fill in the gaps of the "Bible" / Scripture and provide such DETAILED explanations and teachingsAWESOME teaching!! I can see the brother has a lot of passion for his nation Kongo and finding their Hebrew liniage however, without historical evidence and Biblical references, his message is simply one of speculation and an emotional outpouring. There is a lot of evidence out there that validates Bantus as being of ancient Hebrew liniage. So I don't know why the brother is not using them.

Thank you for such a highly informative video! I was very surprised to hear you say that the name Jesus isn't Greek but derives from the Eve word, Yesu. As we know, the name Jesus is a hotly debated topic and this is the main argument Messianic Israelites in the United States use against Christians who hold to the name Jesus. I would like to know more about this, so can you recommend some resources that further expound upon the name Jesus not being Greek? Thank you very much!

Yes Davi Bernadette, Yesu is Eʋɛ. The very name of the Yesu and it's interpretation is proof of that. "Yeshua"(יהושוע YHWSHWA which in the Eʋɛ is YESHIWƆ(pronounced: Yeshi-wor) ) does not translate into "Iesous"(Greek) or "Iesus"(Latin) at all. An etymology search of these names which the Greeks and Romans used comes up empty. There is no direct meaning of "Iesous" and "Iesus" in those languages. So how did the Greeks and Romans come about with their versions of the name? The answer is simple. The ancient Hebrews, the Eʋɛs, gave them the name. The Eʋɛ language has a direct meaning for both YESU and YASHIWƆ. YE=YEHƲEH(YHWH) SU=SUFFICIENT YESU=YEHƲEH IS SUFFICIENT. YESHIWƆ(pronounced: Yeshi-wor) was mistransliterated into "Yeshua". It means THE HAND OF YEHƲEH (YHWH). That is what the interpreter would have translated into "Jehovah Saves", (Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.) because that is the purpose of YHWH's hand. And the scripture specifies it as His right hand. All you have to do is just search for scriptures that mention the hand of God, and you'll find that they are talking about Yesu. The sources we have are the scriptures and our language.

@@hebrewtheblackman Thank you! So, the whole Jesus name debate and saying the name is from Iaso, a Greek goddess of healing are somewhat pointless, because the name is not of Greek origin after all. It's no surprise that the Greeks and Romans got the name from the Eves; there's very little that Europeans hasn't borrowed or stolen from the Eves and other African civilizations. This was very enlightening!

Efo Seyram, I have seen that too. There are several pronunciations of YAH's name which are correct. Because they have their meaning directly in the Eʋe language. Here's what I know: 1) YHWH = YEƲE (Ye-Eʋe, signifying Himself is of/for the Eʋevio, the Eʋes are called by His name) 2) YHWH = YAƲE (Yah-ʋe, signifying that He is the "Aya" (wind/air/breath of life) of the Eʋes) 3) YHWH = YAHWEH (Ya-weh, signifying Himself will/has do/done it). 4) YHVH= YAHVEH (Ya-Veh, signifying Himself will rescue) So as you can see, all of these forms of His name have their meanings directly in the Eʋe language. How did Jesus become part of Ewe culture when Christianity donenaway with sacrifices because there is no longer need with the death of Jesus. Dada (big sister) Gretchen, great question. Eʋɛ clans left Kana and Keme at different intervals, with the last group likely leaving Kana in 70AD. The story of Jesus spread throughout Africa before the arrival of the colonizers. The Eʋɛ people did not refer to him as Jesus but rather Yesu.

If the Ewe people left Israel before 70AD, then what source of knowledge whould they have had of Yeshu since Matthew and the Gospels were not in existence....You reference the NT of Matthew which was written around 85AD...are you then saying that the Ewe people spoke and understood and read Greek? Do the Ewe people have knowledge of Yeshu thru oral tradition, since they would not have had access to the NT gospels which were written originally in Greek? I'm asking to get understanding of Yeshu thru the Ewe oral tradition rathen than what is told in the NT writings.

@@13boardie Before the Ame-tsiatsia (the chosen one) "Ha-Mashiach" came, there were prophecies about his coming. Those prophecies were passed on through oral tradition first before being written. Likewise, stories about Yesu would have been passed on through oral tradition long before ever being written. What we had remaining, in the Hebrew/Eʋɛ influenced areas of Africa and beyond, are stories if a Yesu personality. These stories have been stolen and married to so-called "African Spirituality". A classic example is in Egyptian mythology. The paintings, images and writings which the Egyptians left behind often re-tell these stories. Like images and stories can be found in Eʋɛ land, unfortunately in practices (ie voodoo) which do not glorify TMH.

Hi TNG. I generally don't delve into who is from which tribe and who is not, because I myself am still learning. What I have learned so far is that in Subsaharan African as well as in other parts of the world where we are, there is a mixture of tribes. Wherever you find Judah, you will also find Levi, Gad, Ephraim etc. The location on the West African coast (aka The Slave coast) which most densely populated with Eʋe-speaking people today, is the recorded location of "The Kingdom of Judah" on the old maps. I hope that helps.

Shalom from ebanieto dos lobitos the( j ) did not exist in the paleo hebrew dialect or lingua or alphabet along with Aramaic . It came in to existence in the 15 century. The Jesus never existed in the north east afrikan country of yesreal, or yudiah. But there was a messiah named or Yahshua ,Yeshu . dialect plays a major part in the pronunciation also. As a reminder we are not to refer to the Abba of yesreal as a( God ). There is a command not to nullify his holy name by substituting with pagen forms. Like many say in their speech because of christaization they refer to the most high as a( Lord God) that is against scripture and Torah teachings, its an abomination. The pagan nations like France, Dutch land, Wales, Holland, had the house of( Lords) and there were many God's in these land as in kanaan land also. We have to take care as to the old pathways of the teachings as Yeremyah spoak.
