Notes: The Greek word for "judge" is "Krino", meaning to condemn, avenge, sentence, or levy a punishment.
(1 Corinthians 2:15). He says furthermore: “Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

With righteous just judgment, allowing for people to come back into the fold, by way of repentance= metanoia change in one's way of life resulting from penitence=SORROW and correction or spiritual conversion "what he demanded of people was METANOIA, { Repentance,} a complete change of heart" .. And yet we change words when is a member of the religion of government that does the deed. We call a kidnap an arrest. Assault, use of force. Murder use of deadly force. We call extortion taxation and fines. We Theft, seizing. Just because a member of the religion of government (complete with a false god called The State) does the deed. If we change words, then we are hypocrites. Call things for what they are and not change words.

My car is parked in my driveway with an expired plate from janurary but I havent driven the car out of the driveway since january. I was woken up at 10pm to the police asking me if i accidentally called the police and i was half naked, checked my call log and I didnt see anything so i said i didnt see anything so they asked if we were all safe and we said yes. They said okay bye and started walking away. On their way down the driveway my driveway security cam caught them quietly saying to each other "hes got an expired plate, we're going to try to get him" which means they assumed im already guilty of driving on the road without legal plates which is not true, and they are going to try to catch me in the act. Ive been spendong time and money working on the car the last couple months and not driving it so i didnt spend the 88 dollars dor criminal registration robbery and instead did oil change etc. So now im about to pay for my registration in a few days when my money hits the bank and im going to put the sticker on so i can legally actually drive it to the carwash before i tale phptos to sell it and I hope they dont pull me over assuming my plate is expired because then im going to have to be an auditor asking what crime im guilty of 😂 It turns out after the police left i went back to my room and i kept refreshing my call log. Boom, suddenly it pops up and says i emergency sosed the police. I looked through my settings amd it said ergemcy sos requires 5 power button presses in a row. I find it very odd that when im in a dead sleep i somehow managed to press my phones powerbutton 5 times. So I disabled emergency sos because its getting me in trouble. So i hope i dont need it some day 😂😂 i hope these cops dont make the mistale agaisnt me of assuming i drive without legal plates. Theyre looking for me now as i have the audio proof. Theyre expecting to see me driving on expired plates. Unlucky for them my car gasnt left the driveway since the plates expired and wont leave the driveway until it has up to date registration. Then im listing it for sale because it turns out i actually have way more vehicle than i need owning a family.sedan without a family when my license has a motorcycle endorsement and they are cheaper. Makes me nervous seeing the police thinking expired plates on cars in driveways means someones driving with illegal plates because it doesnt. My car hasnt left the driveway since before the plates expired.

Buddy, my Daddy was a country preacher. He preached this message often, for the reasons you mentioned. You boiled down a 30-minute sermon really quickly...and accurately. Thanks. I will look forward to that one.

EXACTLY! Something I've been harping on for yeaaaars. It means to give redemption a chance, sometimes people lash out in anger, and in the ancient times, the right hand was unclean. So if you were slapped once, forgave them, and then were hit with the right hand, it is akin to a declaration of war really. My blood against your blood. Been awhile since I've studied it but I do remember it having serious gravity.
@jujupants2486
@jujupants2486 Жыл бұрын
@@MegadethTillDeth Not a believer myself but grew up in a Christian church and have read the Bible, referenced some of it in the original Hebrew and there are many verses people misinterpret. Stated this in a previous comment but you get the idea. I wonder if the slapping with a glove to challenge someone to a duel is a derivative of this since it quite literally was a declaration of a war between two people. My wife, back when we were dating, would lash out at me in anger which I believe was a result of bullying when she was younger and people not listening to her like her own family. I turned the other cheek many times. I never retaliated nor even so much as raised my voice but calmly explained that I'm not her enemy, I'm not her family, I am patient, and I am listening. I'm not a therapist, but I was essentially her therapist. Since then, she has found her voice and has learned that life isn't about who is the loudest because often, if people aren't listening to you, then stop talking to them. You devalue your words by doing so. Jordan Peterson speaks about this, "stop casting pearls before swine". Not his words but he speaks about them. My wife now is a much more polished and refined version of herself these days.

@dougearnest7590
@dougearnest7590 Жыл бұрын
@@snicksabea - Interesting, in that God also commands Christians to confront (in a loving manner, for the purpose of correcting) fellow Christians in certain circumstances of wrongdoing. It's the 'Non- judgemental" attitude that has weakened the Church and allowed the message to be diluted to the point many congregations may as well not even exist: -- Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that "by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established." And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. -- What a wonderful idea for preventing the breakup of families and the cycle of fatherless children. No wonder the Left is so adamant about shaming Christians into not being "judgemental" - and the politicians and lawyers encouraging divorce over reconcilliation. Of course they don't want anyone in the church to "judge".

If I was judging you I would have the power to sentence you based on my opinion, you are lucky I don't have that power". Don't Judge Me is what people say when they know they are doing something wrong and got caught, but will do it anyway. "I'm Sorry" has changed in the same way. It's supposed to be used as an expression of how you should feel when you know you screwed up. Now it's used as a get out of jail free card to excuse bad behavior. You know Buddy, I have NEVER heard that verse broken down that way, and I admit I have lived my life via the tenet: "Judge not, lest ye be judged." However, I guess subconsciously I would make the same sort of "judgment" you described about the Convenience Store scenario, but they would never know it, as I wouldn't be condemning them directly, but only in my own mind to know it was better to avoid them. I don't call people names or disrespect someone else's opinion, and I do tend to believe in the live and let live motto, as long as that isn't directly impacting me or my family. i.e. I don't want Drag Queens reading storytime with my children/grandchildren, or having someone directly disrespect my wife or family. I will stand up for what I believe in, but will try not to trample on someone else's right to believe whatever they choose too. This NEW breakdown of that verse is going to cause me to have to seriously spend some time in self-reflection to understand where the line is, in how that gets applied. For the record, I don't believe the "Woke Left" uses that verse, because they spend all day, every day, judging anyone who chooses to disagree with them, so I never saw it as a verse that applied the way you described it.

Our ability to judge a situation or relationship dynamic is an expression of our acquired wisdom and determination to protect and preserve ourselves and loved ones from harm. Heck yea! Well said well said!! but buddy actually Jesus and Paul repeatedly said to judge! Scriptures on this. Paul says: “He who is spiritual judges all things.” (1 Corinthians 2:15). He says furthermore: “Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?” (1 Corinthians 6:2-3). Jesus Himself requires us to judge. He says: “When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, ‘It’s going to rain,’ and it does. And when the south wind blows, you say, ‘It’s going to be hot,’ and it is. Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don’t know how to interpret this present time? Why don’t you judge for yourselves what is right?” (Luke 12:54-57). These are scriptures to back up exactly what you're saying my friend 😉 love the content

I had a plan for my comment but you covered it in the last 30 seconds of the video. Discernment is different than judging. Amen Buddy Brown!

Boddy, I did not know that you were scholar; you impress me every time. You are so correct on this. People say 'don't judge a book by its cover' but I say that the cover of book has a lot to do with the content of it. I am so glad you made this video, people need to know this basic truth.

You can get a good idea from the cover. If Don Lemon wrote a book, I'd have a pretty good idea of it's inner content, and know immediately, it isn't written to me.

This is a great lesson to teach. Of course we judge situations. It is part of learning how to cope with problems both big and small. It is why you have parents. To teach you wisdom and learned responses. It is why there are age restrictions for most things in life. When you are young and taught to treat older people like you are on their level, it just shows exactly why you are unable to process right and wrong. When I was younger, I was taught to call older people Mr. and Mrs. I am a grandfather now and still call my aunts and uncles just that. Uncle Bob, aunt Rose,etc. It is just showing respect to people I have grown with and love. There is nothing wrong with that.

Years ago when I lived in Seattle, I made the statement that because they would stand for nothing they would fall for everything. The sad state of Seattle… of this country… is due to our neglecting to use God’s Word to make decisions and determinations regarding people and events in our lives. We absolutely must make these types of judgments in our lives.

Exactly. That is what I have been pointing out to people for years. Judgement=discernment which as believers we are command to use. Only God can pass sentence upon our sins, but we are each responsible for our own actions. Amen Buddy Brown! Thank you for speaking out.

Depends, discernment is a type of judgement that comes from the holy spirit(your conscience). Not all judgment is discernment, most isn't.

I’ve always been taught to judge people…it’s what keeps most honest..government wants to tell you it’s unamerican to judge people? Yet the very same government that tells you that, judge us every day…that’s why we need to have a license to conceal carry. Because they want to judge us to see if we can be trusted with a concealed firearm. It’s why they’re trying to pass “red-flag laws”…they are judging us all…every day…HYPOCRITES!
