Nice video, Jason. But why a Master fund f being a Foreign Entity filing US tax return? Is not it best for it to stay a Foreign entity and do no US tax reporting?

Excellent, thanks for share knowledge. In TAXES perspective and considering hedge funds usually invest in public securities, how a Master Fund domiciled outside the USA and that detain these american assets is treated when a stock share pays dividends? Normally the IRS retains 30% of foreign investors and i don't think hedge funds (or theirs offshores structures) like to get this bad condition.

Greed and gluttony is for them that are born transgressors while evading taxes in their countries.. HEDGE FUNDS...it is already identified for numerous scrupulous activities, non reversible/irreversible.

@jason are access funds and underlying funds the same as feeder funds?

@Jason. How do hedge funds buy huge volumes of share. Is it even possible to have that big of a buy order?

They normally do not purchase their entire position with one buy order. Most funds will accumulate the stock over a period of time. Much of this is done using automated trading programs
