Take it slow and be patient with yourself. I started 3 years ago with very sloppy footwork. This is where I am now and I'm still trying my best to improve!

Hey I’ve been dancing like my entire life and I see a lot of people looking for help! When you do a hopping step or move like this and want to make it look smoother and less bouncy, you have to put a soft bend in your knees (a plié) to keep all of the control of the bounce in your legs, after that you gotta relax your upper body but isolate it so your upper body is still. I know how, _practice a lot_ ! Doesn't need to be a lot every day, you can practice a little bit but do it consistently throughout the week and then your body will learn it! I hope I can do it smoothly too but I also gota practice before that happens.

I dance salsa at the National salsa Congress in Spain and I can tell u it’s all just practice! I looked like a fool when I first started! No rhythm always off beat but w practicing as often as I could changed all that. Practicing for at least 30-1hour is what I found best

What gets me the most is the timing of the foot work. Just like the Polly pocket a dance move i really want to learn and nail. I can do it slowly but when I speed it up it's a mess lol
