I finally got my hands on the legendary BMW 1M Coupe. In this case the owner has done a few tasteful mods to make this car quite a weapon, especially when it comes to driving sideways.
All drifting was performed on closed roads!

not going to hate or anything, but its on closed roads with a pimped out manual rear wheel car, any decent driver can do that, also todays problem on the public road is that alot of people can't seem to drive a car.

Being a BMW fan myself, and driving a 135 with Manual in the US, I still think his first Lotus video is the best, that one is hard to beat... the reactions of the passengers especially made that one brilliant.

One Day I want to learn that type of Control, I love BMWs and the 1 M is certainly one of my favorites. I wonder how he got to have such control

What’s nice is how his second big drift at the end follows the line of his first with very little difference, showing just how much control he has over where the car is going. If anything he just pushed the same line a little more, meaning he’s finding more room to explore inside the cars limits. Really, very good hard driving and a super car.

This is on the level of a Chris Harris review. Outstanding video man we need more of these! It’s refreshing to see a review that’s so well shot, edited, has a high attention to detail, and most importantly a reviewer that can actually drive! I’m a sucker for dark green cars, Porsche’s Brewster Green is my all time favorite. When I get my M2 later next year it will be wrapped somewhat similar looking to the paint on that car. The level of want on that 1M is so damn high.

I owned a stage 2 135i coupè with the n55 engine and DCT gearbox. So far it's on top of the best cars I've ever owned. I really miss that car , it introduced me to the BMW Brand and I've been in love ever since

Last year I was just coming on to the A3, cruising home to my parents, when I noticed something in the mirror. I was thinking, hell no, that is not a green 1M. This absolute legend was just cruising as well, so I could feast my eyes on this beauty. Long story, short: Once I got back to work I told my mates about the car and one of them led me straight to this video. All I can say: Amazing car, mad respect to the lad for owning a green 1M with subtle and performance-improving modifications, and an absolutely legendary video. 12/10.

Just wow. Wide sticky Sport Cup 2's on a short wheelbase car like the 1M, in the dry on a tight little course... Trying to unstick the tires there is not for the faint of heart. Respect for the skill, and the commitment!

Haha danke! Einfach Leidensdhaft und sehr oft sachen ausprobiert (vor allem im Winter im Schnee) und viel renn simulator gefahren. Nie motorsport gemacht.

@@081588101 Stimmt, kann mich auch noch dran erinnern: Erste Fahrstunde mit dem VW Tiguan erstmal mit angezogener Handbremse durch den Kreisverkehr geballert. Natürlich muss man sich solche Fähigkeiten erstmal aneignen. Das ein gewisses Talent dazu gehört ist denke ich mal jedem klar.

1m has a n54 and the m2 has a n55. n54 is a superior motor in every regard.

@@1VETaLEK2 It's obviously not. The only thing the N54 is ahead of the N55 is it's tunability, and even there, the difference between N54 and N55 (if both are stock) is pretty marginal. The N55 is more reliable, has almost no problems whatsoever and it just sounds sooo much better!
