I looked at Hegel but was really turned off by their misleading marketing. They have “NORWAY” very prominently showing leading consumers to believe it’s made there. But it’s made in China. There’s nothing wrong with that as long as you know where it’s made. For that much money (especially as you move up their range) , there are other companies that have products made in Japan, Europe, or the US. The $3k Marantz Model 30 for example is made in Japan. Sure other less costly Marantz models are made elsewhere. Carver amps are another example. Made in the USA. I enjoyed your review BTW.

Ya I'm not sure it's misleading as they are based in Norway and should be proud of that. Products are rarely made in Europe, USA . Even if they are, the parts are usually from offshore factories. To me , as long as the quality is good, it doesn't bother me. To each there own. Cheers!

I agree with that and I considered returning mine, but after listening, I love the sound and decided to get over my bias, after all, China is producing some very fine audio equipment at amazing prices and have done for a number of years. Just saying.

Hmmmmmm................... I can't find anything referencing the volume control design. I would think it's an analog control due to the lack of A/D Converters. Reggae, Funk & Brass 🔈🔉🔊

Considered this , but the lack of Bluetooth is a real minus point.

blue tooth would disgrade an hifi product, because it can not handle lossless audio

H95 has white led display. Why is it blue on this amp?

Probably white balance. They use artificial light and the Hegel printed logo is white, so corrected. That will make a real white display automatically blueish.

It is white but often looks blueish on video. Probably because of the tinted glass in front of the display itself.
