The grades, and percentage live weight vs hanging weight, are what raising beef is all about. Seeing each animal is educational. Thank you for sharing

Keep the clips of how the cattle killed out coming, it’s very interesting to see them before they’re killed and how they weighed and graded imo. If some of the heifers are still standing and mad bulling when they’re Ai’ed You’d wonder would it be better leave them for 12 hours? Is it too early for some of them, I’ve never done the fixed time Ai tho,.
@GrahamkavanaghfarmingАй бұрын
That would be the case for natural heat but with synchronising the gnrh injection given at time of ai stimulates the egg release

A lot of farmers would be proud to have those bells as stock bulls .sierouse cattle . Keep up the good work
@GrahamkavanaghfarmingАй бұрын
There would be a few coming back as pure bred on there cards dunno if I’d go down the route of breeding bull though

Always interested in seeing the cattle and grades ...and the difference in yield per beast and it's interesting when you consider such grade difference on say 50 cattle . That's what it's all about and more to the point than fixing some piece of a tractor ....unless you are a mechanic . Maximising lbs of meat per acre is important.
@GrahamkavanaghfarmingАй бұрын
True its output per acre in quickest time possible

@@Grahamkavanaghfarming Indeed I have seen farms advertised for sale in New Zealand quoting milk solids per hectare.
