All the content related to LIFA was recorded at Castlefest 2017. It was their very first live performance and In Maidjan was the first song they played that night.

my favorite song from Heilung is Hamrer Hippyer from the same live concert.

The mystery bowed instrument is a ravanahatha. At the time of this concert it was strung with the artisan's daughter's hair, but had to be replaced with horsehair when it wore out.

Yes, Heilung is wonderful. you can feel the music deep inside you, it goes down to the roots. the man in the mask, Jonas Lorentzen, he's not part of the band. he was produced by Christopher Juul (band member, not lead singer), and has a single album called Sake of Being. in the song Hamrer Hippyer you can hear his ingenious vocal techniques. I also like the growling and facial expressions of Christopher very much. I'm looking forward to your next healing reaction.

Yeah, as you have discovered their music was used in that game trailer... but I believe they have also had some featured in Vikings as well. Maybe that was just the commercials, I can't recall... I kinda checked out of that show halfway through season 5.

I think you would really appreciate Hamrer Hippyer by Heilung its a lot faster and has a style that I think you would really like.

Don't know if someone mentioned it. Heilung means healing and they want to make music that can heal. Sort of this.

Lots of Heilung reminds me about natives. natives everywhere, actually.

"Sounded like the wind there for a second". What the hell kind of winds do you have over there? xD

You could call this native northern european music.

I like it bcuz it's different but it gets kinda repetitive if u didn't smoke some weed before. I cant listen more then 1 or 2 songs in a row.
