Everyone always says these are better value than the Islander, but after watching this I would pick an Islander hands down. Looking forward to getting my hands on this watch in a couple days to see for myself. Nicely done!

Good content and production value. Seiko is a very reliable movement for micro brands. My to-do list contains at least two watches that uses one - An Islander and a Spinnaker Hull California.

Interesting review of a watch I’ve never heard mentioned. Like you, I do not buy homages and if my choice was between the Sharkey and the Islander, I would pay extra for the Islander just to give the business to Marc.

Doesn’t look bad, just not for me.

These watches seem great value for money but the alignment issues would be too annoying for me. A lot of reviews fail to see the terrible alignment of the bullet indices to the chapter ring especially at positions 4,5,7 and 8 o'clock.They are way off and spoil the whole value of the watch. Milled clasp,ceramic bezel and sapphire glass is all well and good but if the watch looks off they mean nothing.

With the 300 usd, I can get myself a new ang Legit SKX007 they are still abundant in my place although they are discontinued.. Anyone who wants one beep me up
