Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle is a fundamental concept in quantum mechanics, formulated by the German physicist Werner Heisenberg in 1927. The principle states that there is a limit to the precision with which certain pairs of properties, such as the position and momentum of a particle, can be simultaneously known.
Mathematically, the Uncertainty Principle is often expressed as follows for position (Δx) and momentum (Δp) of a particle:
Δx * Δp ≥ ħ / 2
where:
- Δx is the uncertainty in position,
- Δp is the uncertainty in momentum,
- ħ (h-bar) is the reduced Planck constant, approximately equal to 1.054 x 10^-34 J·s.
This principle implies that the more precisely one property (e.g., position) is known, the less precisely the other property (e.g., momentum) can be known, and vice versa. In other words, there is a fundamental limit to the precision with which certain pairs of conjugate variables can be simultaneously measured. This inherent uncertainty is a fundamental aspect of the behavior of particles at the quantum level and challenges our classical intuition about the determinism of physical systems.

Loved it 🙂 Liked the firefly Example A Joke:- An electron was travelling in a car and the police stopped him over and informed that he was going at 200kmph which was much above the speed limit. So the electron replied, "Oh no and Now I am Lost" 😆 After seeing this video, I'm sure most will get this joke!

What happens to the motion of fire fly after shining light on it pleases does it stop or slow down?❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓
@headthepath
@headthepath 2 ай бұрын
For that moment we can see its position. But as it is too fast, the velocity can't be determined. Ass for your "stop or slow down". This is only the uncertaity. We don't know anything about its motion(velocity) at that time.

Sir you forgot to account for the change in mass of the object, since the mass of a body increases as it's speed increases (In quantum mechanics), i.e., NEW mass = REST mass * LORENTZ FACTOR = REST mass * {1/sqrt[1-(v/c)^2]} This obviously doesn't matter in daily life, as the denominator is infinitesimally close to 1, but because this videos is based on Quantum Mechanics, the change in mass should've been covered. So Sir will it be possible to do a Part 2 of this where the change in mass is taken into consideration? Thank You.
