I was here 2 years ago and it was amazing.had alot of fun in helen even though I lost my wedding ring in the river.we have been thinking about moving to Georgia just to be close to helen and the river

@@Buggirl1998 sorry that I just saw this 11 months later lol. If someone found my ring then it should be theirs. I was pretty torn up losing it but realized that I didnt need a ring to remind me of my wife.its just a piece of metal and stone

No it’s ushaly shallow but at one part decently deep I wouldn’t recommend bringing kids under 6

when i went there i got stuck and had to get into the freezing water and then my tube flipped over and my shoe socks and phone were in the tube, i only got my shoes back.

I carry a $5 water proof box from walmart for my phone and wallet tied to my waist, which floats. Sorry you lost your phone. We love Helen and ride the tube yearly.

Me and some buddies went to Walmart got some 5 dollar tubes and floted down 4 miles so fun

You arnt aloud to if you don’t rent a cabin and they will pop after you get stuck once are you sure ya did

This is what my river should look like, just bigger and deeper and also have bigger rocks. That’s what happens when you live next to farms though

How many hours is the tube run

The long ride is about 2 to 2.5 hrs and the short ride is 1 to 1.5 hrs

Is it dangerous?

kirisutegomen12 No, it's not dangerous. Most of the water is 1-2 feet deep. It's a casual lazy river with small drop offs. Young children easily do it. A definite must do.
