Helen Mirren once said the greatest love of her life was her husband and all the dogs she has ever known. So during her AARP The Magazine cover shoot, we surprised her with the cutest puppies we could find. Watch her adorable reaction.
The American Humane Association monitored the animal action. No animals were harmed® .

When I met Helen Mirren this is how she spoke to me. With love and kindness, mostly because I was fragile and a blubbering mess as it was the best day of my life.

I so so agree Helen! Everything you said. Especially about the size DOESNT matter lol! We had a 20lb jackrat who was mean like a junkyard dog when he felt like it. To people and other critters alike. But especially the 2 80lb pitbulls we adopted at different times. He would attack and literally HANG OFF THEIR EARS biting and growling like mad. And the pibbles? Scary and murderous right? NOT. We were caught terribly off guard when our first sweet boy had bone cancer because we thought the jackrat (Bam Bam) had hurt him. The pitbulls NEVER so much as snarled at him. They just cowered or went to their kennels. We tried. To at least get them to defend themselves. Nope. My older shih tzu however (Pebbles) wasn't having it. She would definitely tell him off! So crazy. We lost him a few yrs back as well. Vet said he was alright but he died maybe 6mths later and we never knew for sure why. He wasn't running around so much then as he was 10yrs old and seldom around our pibbles so...? Thanks for the cute vid AARP.🐾
