In this watercolor coffee tutorial, I will show you how to achieve this foamy cafe latte. Watercolor Food illustration is becoming increasingly popular, but need not be difficult. Let me show you in easy to follow steps, how to paint this realistic coffee using just a few colours, so that even if you are new to painting, you can achieve results that you can be proud of.
Watercolor painting for beginners can be daunting, so let me show you how to increase your confidence by applying paint with gentle layers, to avoid the 'muddy' watercolour look.

Materials Used:
Paper: Arches cold pressed - 300 Gsm (use whatever paper you have)
Paints: Yellow Ochre, Sepia, Cadmium red, Carmine and Burnt umber - all by Schmincke (Burnt Umber is Winsor & Newton) but again, use what you have that are nearest to the colours I use)
Brushes: Numbers: 0, 3, and 6 Spotters and Number 2 Flat - all from Rosemary & Co: Here is the link *
