@@KimAhrina11 what 15 year old gets into uni? specially such big ones? unless certain class years are omitted in your school, or youre utterly brilliant, or your parents are rushing to get a straight A's child the day after they learn to walk and talk i dont think its "common". in my country the age is 18, and no options of skipping years no matter how good you are, but it also does exams that foreign kids arent able to solve well(like NEET, or even cbse 12th board which uni students couldnt do). maybe thats why i havent come across any such ppl yet. who cares anyway, the video is about helen and so is the comment, not about other kids. and she mentions at the literal start that she skipped junior year. are you commenting without even watching the vid?

exactly... i'm really happy for her, believe me, but i'd probably go into depression if my parents forced those kinds of expectations on me. luckily, her parents seem like very warm people, and would be happy with just one Ivy League daughter.

Going to a "prestigious" school isn't everything. I went to a run of the mill university and do well for myself in healthcare. Sister shouldn't feel too pressured to go to some school for the brand.

need at least a 1600, a 4.0 unweighted, a 4.7+ weighted at a minimum. Varsity sports 4 years, some sort of crazy thing you’ve done to change the world. Character references from important people.

Not sure but I have a friend during my freshmen yearly Berkeley who already is considered a junior standing bc she already have 30-45 credits from taking courses at a community college. So she basically triple majored bc all the prerequisite courses is done.

Did you graduate your junior year from high school! Many kids in my county do that but most don’t end up applying to college. Congrats ! I graduated at 18 from my high school w an associates also! Community college is a great choice on saving $$ and transferring to a university !

Congratulations! I went the community college route for my bachelors degree and I'm graduating this year from a state university. It feels like just another day, but nothing felt like the day I got the decision that I got into the top school in the nation for my masters. Good luck on whichever you chose!

Congratulations!!!!!!! You made it to Harvard !!!!! OMGGG I’m guessing this isn’t luck and you really must deserve it !! It’s a really prestigious school and sorry for the rejections , brown and Harvard are my dream schools and I wanted to congratulate you on making it to one of the best colleges in the world!!!!
