Goodness... 1) This is a 700 class heli that sounds like it's running 2500rpm head speed. When he overspeeds, it's not that much of an increase of where it was already at. 2) He breaks a tail fin off very early in the flight. 3) He then later finishes the job and takes out both tail blades and it's amazing he has the control to stop that spin out and land safely.

no way he broke the tail fin off. the imbalance at that rpm would have destroyed the tail.

@@halleffect1 He broke the yellow tail fin that points down at 1:15. You can see it come off. Not the tail rotor blade, which would have caused an imbalance.

Well Brother, you have Done it again! Another Sensational flight Tareq. The whining of the Motor, the rip of the blades and when you add pitch you can hear the Blades trying to grip. A small unfortunate touch at the end may have cracked the landing gear but you made a Sensational recovery! Tail rotor shredded?

Oh yes! You can see it in the end, the tail blades are almost entirely gone, but the tail rotor is still rotating, so, no damage to the transmission.

sadly this little "crash" still probably cost around $150 in parts...

Not really. A tail fin ($20) and a pair of tail blades ($36). In my hands, the loss of the tail would probably result in a total write-off. Tarek really saved this one. Kudos!
