Fishing with a Helicopter opens the door to a whole other World of Fishing. Like we said in the Title, Heli Fishing is more than just Fishing in British Columbia Canada. It's Remote, It's High Paced and It's in the most spectacular settings the Planet Earth has to offer. As we always say "You don't have to worry about being the first one on the River" because you are the only one there.
Depending on the time of year, the Coastal Rivers of British Columbia, Canada carry numerous species of fish. This video was filmed March 17, 2020. On this day we helicopter fished 2 Coastal Rivers and caught Bull Trout, Dolly Varden, Coastal Cutthroat Trout, Rainbow Trout and lost a Steelhead. This fishery is quality and it is common to see over 100 fish hooked in a single day. Fly fishing is the preferred method of fishing and all fish were happily released.
Forward to the end of July remote coastal rivers of British Columbia become over run with Salmon. The picture above was taken a near 2 KM "roughly 1 Mile" from the ocean. As you can clearly see these Salmon are fresh and full of life. I always tell my clients to book a day at the spa for the following day. This is a great way to loosen up tired and weary arms. For most a few hours of fishing followed by a delicious shore side lunch is a recipe for a fantastic day. Let's not forget about the Spectacular flight over the snow tipped Coastal Mountains of British Columbia on your way home.
