Amazing amount of work, this looks awesome. It’s crazy to me that you can’t find full build helicopter sim kits anywhere. I’d think people would pay several thousand to have one. It’s like ham radio- pretty much everything out there is possible, but it always requires cobbling a bunch of stuff together and looks like we’re still living in the 80’s.

You could use a bike grip on the collective, given it is a similar size to handlebars.

All the helicopter controls are custom made. The Collective ant Cyclic is made from tubing and 3D printed parts. The interface board to the PC is an Arduino board. here is a photo album that show more details : photos.app.goo.gl/f0uCagzm1fCbjUkA3
