When I was in Malaysia in the 70s our helicopters were our life blood, even though most of my tasks were by land Rover or truck too the nearest track to the boy's in the jungle, we had 4 huey available to us as requested, especially as resupply into the mountains was all by helicopter plus casavac was the most important part, as one of my tasks was aircraft loader in the infantry and to service the LZ water of course was the most difficult because heavy and in the jungle not always able to deliver, love your video's mate, ☺.

Bjarne call Walker’s and have Donny put one of his deflector’s on your top cover. It eliminates being fed dust and chips. Have one on my saw it works awesome

I’ve found it’s not the the throttle cable that’s actually sticking on the 572, it’s the front of the trigger throttle mechanism that hangs up in the forward part of the pistol grip. I pulled the trigger mechanism and used a dremel to open up the pistol grip to give more clearance for the trigger to relax without hanging up. Haven’t had it stick in months. The throttle cable is actually vastly improved over the 390, haven’t replaced the cable yet in a full year production falling. The sawdust management is terrible with the 572, even with a sawdust deflector on top cover clutch side still pounds sawdust in your face. I won’t buy another one.

Haha I felt your pain and relief that tree hung up! I get pissed when I miss my shot with another tree trying to knock one down and it’s usually by a half of a tree width… I even cussed when the tree hung up haha 😂

8:40 might have been a short tailed ermine aka a Stoat. Winter coat is all white with a black tipped tail. Summer coat is chocolate brown, white feet and belly and black tipped tail. Looks like a weasel. Weasel, ferrets, and stoats all look similar and belong to the family of Mustela. Stoats have shorter tails, about half their body length, than weasels.

We had a ermine come right into out cottage a couple years back in the fall. Wasnt afraid of us at all just looking around for mice methinks. Tried to feed it but it didnt want our food. Did bite my brothers toe though so that was weird. Havent seen one before or since. Like a mink but about 1/3 the size.

Ive still got a husy saw i got 2nd hand in 1982 and it still goes on the 4 pull from cold

All I use for saws are Husky to me they are the big dog in the bush good tork at 9,000 RPM instead of 12,000 RPM like a Stil less wear on a Husky I think they last longer what do you think Bjame.Maybe it was a martin that got into your bag

Do you guys ever have to worry about bears while you out in the woods? I understand the saws make quite a racket and would be a good deterrent, but during periods while you waiting on a chopper to be repaired or any other quiet time you have, do you worry about them coming to investigate what's going on?
