They continuously take off right from the dawn till dusk. But they never give the customers a particular time to board and they just allot a time slot say 9 am to 12 noon and you might end up boarding even much later than your slot.

ऋषिकेश से सुबह सुबह चलकर हम दो बजे गुप्तकाशी पहुंचे। आप गुप्तकाशी में भी स्टे कर सकते हैं। गुप्तकाशी से सोनप्रयाग के बीच लगातार होटल और गैस्ट हाउस हैं, और इसी बीच में सिरसी भी आता है। हमने रामपुर में GMVN गैस्ट हाउस में स्टे किया था ( रामपुर सोनप्रयाग से थोडा ही पहले पडता है) , सुबह सुबह रामपुर से सिरसी पहुंचने में लगभग आधा घंटा लगता है। हम लोग वहां से केदारनाथ जाकर उसी दिन शाम को वापस सिरसी पहुंचे और वहां से रात्रि विश्राम के लिए तिलवाडा मे GMVN गैस्ट हाउस में पहुंचे। दूसरे दिन सुबह सुबह हम बद्रीनाथ के लिए रवाना हुए और शाम चार बजे हम बद्रीनाथ धाम पहुंच गए।

Yes, it is possible. You'll have to board helicopter late in the afternoon to Kedarnath for overnight trip and you'll fly back the next day.

You can stay at GMVN Guest House in Guptkashi from where it takes 1 hour to reach sersi helipad which is right above the Kedarnath road. There are many options of stay within a radius of one Kilometer of Sersi Helipad which you can finalise after comparing the prevalent prices during your visit.

U have to wait for pretty long no matter you have one way or return ticket. Somehow, there is little transparency in issuing boarding passes and they seem to manipulate/delay it on the pretext of weight management in helicopter.

It is around 1 km only and it takes half an hour on an low or average rush day.

जी हां, हमने सेम डे रिटर्न किया था, लेकिन मेरा सजेशन होगा कि अगर आपको केदारनाथ में स्टे मिल पाए तो एक रात जरूर केदारनाथ में रहकर दूसरे दिन वापसी फ्लाइट लेना बेहतर रहेगा। हेलीकॉप्टर ऑपरेटर्स काफी mismanaged तरीके से काम करते हैं। वहां पर कोई सीक्वेंस से नहीं काम होता है, वेट डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन के नाम पर फ्लाइट में चढाने में काफी मनमानी होती है। हमने सुबह सात बजे रिपोर्ट किया लेकिन हमको एक बजे दोपहर में फ्लाइट में चढाया गया। वापसी में हमारी टीम के आथे लोग वहीं रुकने के कगार पर आ गये थे क्यूंकि शाम को ज्यादा कोहरा होने के कारण फ्लाइट जल्दी रुकवा दी गई थी। इसलिए preferably एक रात रुककर वापसी की फ्लाइट दूसरे दिन करवायें तो बेहतर रहेगा।

Good afternoon, very bad experience of shirsi helepad center, we were booking online and provide tickets to this center but team of shirsi managment members not given boarding pass to us up to 4pm, we repoting there at 5 am, they always told to us your boarding pass cent on the spot of helecopfter, they waste our time not given clear information and told us you have must stay at kedarnath madir today and return tomorrow so we can not go kedarnath date 8 june 2022,so why Online facility provided by government and for what purpose

One piece of small luggage. Weight alongwith small luggage should remain upto 80 kg, else one has to par for extra weight i.e. Rs 150 per kg of extra weight.

Of course you can get shared cabs as well as buses from Haridwar to Sonprayag. Sirsi comes before Sonprayag. There are nine helipads around Guptkashi / Sirsi till and you should book your accomodation once the heli tickets are booked so that you know the exact location of helipad and try to get the nearest available accomodation. Please ensure advance online booking of heli tickets from GMVN website in order to avoid any sort of inconvenience.
