That’s a great idea, I’m glad that you made this video because I recently bought the the helicon foxtrot and after seeing this I will be making the same additions.

That bag is a great addition, I was looking into this for a hunting bag myself and really like the extra capacity. As for the suspenders which I also had seen as a potential issue I am planning on getting the condor H harness to deal with that as well as add a bit more molle to the back of the suspenders.

Take a look at Blackhawk shoulder straps/harness, they are better quality and have better padding. That is what I use for my day hike kit.

It holds my Camelback. Plus it has the hydration hose port at the top and hook.

You should add Tasmanian tiger “pouch-9 “ to your video title. Yours is the only video in English I could find to review that bag....you’d probably get a lot more views Also I’m totally high jacking your idea That’s a great setup for my hunting needs Cheers 🍻

Thank You very much for this! I was curious whether Helikon-Tex E&E pouch would fit on the sides of Foxtrot Mk2 belt (I had the same idea but was unsure if E&E was not too wide for it) - Your video answers my question perfectly :).
@andrewdeadder99053 жыл бұрын
Not a problem! It was a nice setup. I’ve since moved onto a Savotta M. Need to do a video on that soon.

@@andrewdeadder9905 Looking forwards to that video! :) For me, I love Foxtrot Mk2 for its versatility combined with Helikont Numbat (for smaller items) - that is the setup for day-hike/scouting trip with no overnighters involved. Foxtrot is really cool bag but if You start overloading it, You can see its limits very quickly, hence I was thinking about one E&E pouch. For anything more serious, a rucksack is must, of course (I have found that Dutch airforce KLU daypack works with Foxtrot perfectly).

Great kit! I'm loving the Swagman Roll, awesome bit of gear! I dig the Klymit pad too, I have a Static V. How does it carry? That pack, I mean.
@andrewdeadder99054 жыл бұрын
Rob Babcock The pack carries great. At least for me. Don’t think I would want it much heavier without padded straps though. I have a Klymit Static V insulated. Great sleeping pads.

Which green did you order olive or adaptive ?

Awesome setup. Did you cut the straps off the TAC 9 pouch to fit the straps from the Foxtrot rig?
@andrewdeadder99052 жыл бұрын
Nope. No mods needed to the straps or pouches etc.

Hi Andrew, Great video I and you made me buy the TT SP9 pouch for my Helikon Tex Belt rig Foxtrot! SOoo.. I have the SP9 Pouch and I am not able to add it to the MK2 belt rig. Can I kindly ask you to show me how you attached the SP9 to the Foxtrot :) Im in struggle with that :P Thank you in advance and all the best!

Hi! Thanks for watching the video. Unfortunately I no longer have that setup. I moved to a Elberlestock Halftrack.
@BallistaClub2 жыл бұрын
@@twoq5028 thanks 😊 🙏 I think I managet to put them togather! Still the SP9 is not positioned as I imagined.
@twoq50282 жыл бұрын
@@BallistaClub It takes some trial and error. Nice thing about webbing.

How did you hook the tasmanian tiger pouch 9 to the mk2 belt rig?
@andrewdeadder99054 жыл бұрын
I threaded the two straps that attach to the top of the Fox Trot pouch through the webbing of the Tasmanian pouch. You can see when it’s flipped over at the beginning of the video.

Is it the adaptive green or olive green colored you have there?

Here is another option. Not affiliated with them at all. However I have bought stuff from them in that past and the service is excellent. Above and beyond. I’ve seen the pouch there. www.varusteleka.com/en

How does the e and e pouch attach to the rest? There seems to be no secure attachment.
@andrewdeadder99054 жыл бұрын
Frederick Merle Do you mean the two extra Bushcraft pouches?
@frederickmerle64124 жыл бұрын
Andrew DeAdder yes the e and e pouches, they don’t have buckles or press studs so not secure on molle webbing.
@andrewdeadder99054 жыл бұрын
Frederick Merle The Helikon Tex pouches have straps that feed through the webbing on the belt. I’ll do a video on how I connected the Tasmanian Tiger pouch and the Helikon pouches onto the webbing
@frederickmerle64124 жыл бұрын
Andrew DeAdder yep I am aware of the straps but the are not secured by anything so can pull loose?
@andrewdeadder99054 жыл бұрын
Frederick Merle I understand now. I fold the ends back under the webbing at the end. Or pull them through and the tab at the end of the strap keeps them from pulling back though the webbing. Same concept as Maxpeditions tactile straps.
