I've seen a lot of reactors try to do similar things but end up confused instead (and blame the show for their confusion)

I'm pretty sure that the cannibal was the blonde woman who already got decapitated. Also, I'm pretty sure that the blonde guy is going to be a problem later. He's unstable by even the condemned criminal standards. I could see a situation where this turns into a fight between factions, with the two ninja and the sword master, who appear to be the most rational of the bunch, fighting against the giant, the blonde guy and his brother, who are irrational and aren't caring about their mission. I think that leaves only the dark haired kid as the last criminal, and they haven't had enough screentime to actually draw any conclusions on them.
