Vladimir Putin threw thousands of mobilized men to outside Svatove to stop the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in fall 2022. Commanders were sending Russians to the frontline without outfits, training, or cover. Newly fledged soldiers immediately got under fire from the Ukrainian side and then from their own forces as well. These all resulted into catastrophic losses for the Russian army. The authorities are trying to conceal the details of this tragedy by all means.
