I know it’s supposed to be “realistic” to reload slower, but I still think that just because they’re slower, it doesn’t mean they’re more accurate. IRL you’d be a lot more frantic about reloading than “mhm, now I press the button, aaaaaand... take out the mag.... put one back in... aaaaand... done!” I’m not saying they should be CoD-level fast, just maybe a smidge faster/the animations should be a bit more intense? Unless the soldiers are specifically supposed to be minimally-trained late war soldiers.

I mean, then you'd have to animate a lot of micromovements, slip-ups, dropping magazines on the ground, pooping your pants... I see what you mean, but for convenience's sake these are fine and dandy...and are pretty accurate.

I hate how nearly all the guns have that "click" before the shot, especially pistols and rifles. That is not the way the real guns sound like.

I actually found these guns to be somewhat disappointing (no offence intended to the channel obviously). For example the bolt carrier barely moves on the Garand and M1 carbine when shot and basically every rifle and pistol sounds like shooting squib loads.

@@GogettaSSJ404 At least it's somewheat accuarate (you wouldn't hit the barn from 20 meters shooting like this) MG is supposed to be deploy on the ground and aimed with iron sights, just like IRL. Try to aim 15kg 1500rpm Mauser ammo sucker from the hip.

@@GogettaSSJ404 I am pretty sure MG rework is coming soon; the game needs constant fixes, there are some bugs regarding progression, one map is completely broken, M1 Garand sights are terrible in combat; vote kick sucks etc.

Why does no game ever actually pull the bolt on the Thompson?

Because it actually locks back on empty! The Thompson has a bolt lock, and if everything is working properly, you should only have to rack the bolt on your first time loading it. I do think that the empty reload should have at least had the soldier turn the gun over to make sure that the bolt is locked back though. Additionally, if you put a drum onto an M1921, M1928, or M1928A1 Thompson, the bolt will not lock. In fact, you cannot remove a drum mag until you lock the bolt back. Also, what they did to the iron sight is a crime lol.

Why? The animations stay the same through 1 and 2 minus the new weapons, and 3 had the same reloads for every weapon. And there was no Dead Space 4
