Probably my favorite role to play. Especially with the MG42!

Yeah, the MG role it's more for deny access to the enemy and keep 'em away and with their heads down than for mow 'em down; the MG can mow the enemy down, true, but need the rest of the squad or squads to do it, the MG gunner alone it's a slow moving target or worst, a seating duck with a limited angle of attack.

Yeah that’s a good point. Sometimes you can get ransoms to pick up on what you’re doing, but it’s rare. Having a decent squad makes everything else much easier to accomplish.

Good video, good series HLL are missing a trick not using the community to use as tutorials, the developers will never do one as in depth as the community does. Good work

This game looks really realistic, does it have a campagne or is it only online? Also the guide made sense and was very clear. Keep it up

It's an online FPS with no single player mode. However, the devs plan to introduce an online campaign mode to the game which will likely string certain maps back to back and carry over resources from one battle to the next. Something I'm really excited for. I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for your support.

I loved playing MG on battlefield 5 so when I got HLL I immediately tried the class. It seems every time I try to mount I get a swift shot to the dome. Don’t even get a chance to fire. Sometimes feels a little fishy, especially when enemies should have no idea where I am because I have been behind cover moving to position the whole time and than the amount of time it takes for them to shoot me from the moment I finally do pop up seems a little suss sometimes...it could be totally legit good shots and just luck that people were watching my spot, but sometimes I just doubt it 😪

Yeah it can feel like that a lot. You are a prime target and are more vulnerable than other roles because you must expose a large portion of your upper body in order to set up. They are also looking for you and singling you out not to mention that the MGs have such distinct sounds that the moment you fire anyone in the area is zeroing in on you. A couple things that can really help here is making sure your flanks are covered and setting up at larger distances using your volume of fire more so than accuracy of fire. Hope you stick with it!
