I'll be real honest. So far Hell's Paradise has been mid, not bad but nothing special either and I've heard Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, and Hell's Paradise are supposed to be the trinity? It got an interesting premise at least. Hopefully, the story picks up.

Jjk seemed mid too at first. It was like all the hype was coming from gojo's eyes. I started liking it when that bich junpei was killed.

They are called the dark trio yeah. And tbf the first season of all 3 of these anime won't even close to being the best part of the story, even Chainsaw Man and JJK aren't even close to their peak and Hell's Paradise will probably be the same but it's still gonna be damn good

Anime became mainstream thats why ppl overhype every single anime that came out (mostly the ones that caters to larger audience), this doesnt mean those anime are bad, its just that a lot of newcomers hyping it up. The anime can be decent but this doesnt mean every anime has to be groundbreaking to be enjoyed. The best example is Demon Slayer. It offers nothing new to the anime industry but people enjoy it for its animation and aesthetics for the most part. Imo JJk is also mid if we wanna get real (fights are fun but battle system can be too complicated and not in a good way like nen, worldbuilding is meh and the story is not that interesting to me so far from what I've read). Aside from those two the same thing happened with Oshi no Ko, Spy X Family, etc etc...at least with Hell's Paradise the hype wasn't THAT much, even now it has quiet down a bit. I wouldn't say its groundbreaking but its just ok so far.

@@mia3033comparing Oshi no Ko with every other anime you’ve mentioned is dumb, it’s on another level. Spy X Family was good but massively overhyped. Oshi no Ko was the only hyped anime that didn’t let me down. This anime also seems generic, like every shonen. Tbh Oshi No Ko is the only Seinen that’s had this much hype, and seinen is usually way better than shounen.
