Pink (by ABEC 11) now has firmer versions of the P-52's, PolkaDots, SickSicks, Seven-O's, and Powerballs available in blue. The Classic Formula urethane is 78a in pink and 81a in blue. I think you're seeing mostly the "BlueBalls" in action which are 81a PowerBalls.

the best thing to do is take the thane dust off your wheels or the ground right after a slide. mix with vinegar and water into a paste. apply to nipples and they will be so hard they can cut glass.
