The striking key component of the headlamp is definitely the high-definition LED module with the 84 individually controlled high-performance LEDs in three rows. World premiere: The new precise LED module enables lighting functions for low and high beam to be freely configured and adapted to the changing situation on the road quickly and dynamically. All adaptive functions can be depicted digitally and without using any mechanical actuator units.

This piece is about headlights, right? We've used them all our lives, but somehow this video excited me! HOLY, WOW! This is incredible and makes me appreciate more simplistic, yet complex systems like headlights. WELL DONE, HELLAGroup!

but, these new headlights are blinding,turned left in front of a stopped car with these new lights and almost had an accident couldn't se the road for the blinding light

Wow that was amazing. They have read the fine the way lighting is used in down to a science. I can’t stop thinking of how amazing it is that the lights can identify objects on the road and not illuminate the high beam directly on them. This is by far the latest in cutting edge technology brought to the auto motive industry finally. Very well done, excellent work Hella! Bravo!

Just imagine how nighttime and reduced visibility driving would improve greatly when (nearly) all vehicles would be equipped with this technology?! Great tech!!

It is also not available in the United States because adaptive headlights do not meet the U.S.'s antiquated safety regulations.

US (SAE) regulations require separate low and high beam light source.
