I remember in Chernobog with the "Anonymous One's War" story Patriot saying that Hellagur's Blade would not have been able to even pierce his armor at all. Calling a match between the two "unfair" if it were to happen. Hellagur says his armor is beyond disrepair and implies he possibly could at the time but he is never clear about it. What this does say about them in the past though is that Hellagur would not have pierced Patriot's armor in the past for sure and would definitely not be able to beat him as strong as he is. Now with Patriot out of his prime in the reunion movement maybe Hellagur has a chance but I have severe doubts that Hellagur, as much as I love him can take on 2 emperor's blades to a stalemate like Patriot considering how strong they are (Kal'stit also took on one and you could say she struggled). It is also important to note that in the same "anonymous one's war" story Hellagur said that him and 2 of his other companions (also likely highly ranked/powerful) would have certainly died if Patriot did not save them from the Silverlance of Kazimierz. Considering how Patriot a single man completely changed the outcome of such a situation, its safe to say he is stronger than Hellagur + his 2 companions he mentioned. Even more comparisons but a Young Nearl in her early teens beat a silverlance knight so if Hellagur and gang struggled without Patriot against a group of them it further confirms he likely isn't as powerful as Patriot in those times and probably even now. This is of course all speculation based on multiple implications from what little Hellagur and Patriot lore + other benchmarks to compare with that we have. However I could be completely wrong if AK decides to say out of nowhere that Hellagur is so goated he is stronger than Skadi (a complete exaggeration of course). my point with that entire lore dump is tldr: 1. Hellagur is likely unable to beat Patriot both in the past and maybe now but could hold his ground for a small amount of time (generous assumption even then). 2. Everything I stated is implications and assumptions based off what little amounts of lore we have 3. I could be completely wrong if later Hypergryph/Yostar suddenly drops new info. @@jdawgs1484 I think in an old video/livestream one of the Ak people said that Patriot was made to be the most powerful man in Terra's history so Hellagur, while a very proficient warrior isn't close to Buldrokastee's power BUT what is true is that Hellagur was genuinely respected by Patriot and respect from such a being is certainly nothing to take lightly.

@Piquliar Definitely so, both are basically brother's in arms, and Patriot wished that he had served under Hellagur back in their glory days (I believe Hellagur outranked him back then). They vowed not to fight each other after their meeting in Chernobog. But yes, Hellagur has not been equal in terms of combat strength but is certainly a highly respected comrade and friend in Patriot's eyes

Congratulations on getting him! He is much stronger with his new Module now! Both in survivability and dps. While he is one of my favourite Operators, if you do already have a elite/boss duelist built in your roster (NTR, Surtr, even Skadi) then you should probably put him for the backlog until you finish more important operators that may fill in niches and roles you don't have covered. Otherwise if you have nothing else to build or need someone to fill in the duelist slot, he'll work just fine! While he isn't "meta", he is still a viable option for dueling, and solo lane holding in some cases as long as you play around his strengths Hopefully you get bagpipe at some point! I assume you didn't have enough yellow certs to exchange for her :(. She can be obtained from top operator tag combined with vanguard/dp-recovery on a 50/50 chance shared with Siege if you happen to get lucky in recruitment! Otherwise hope she spooks you at some point... Enjoy Hellagur if you build him! I guarantee you'll find him fun if you work around him in your squad composition.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, I thought the same after putting all the clips in the editor and realising it was much longer than anticipated. Thought to myself I should turn off music when recording if I want to speed up clips! Note taken for if i ever do something like this again (maybe hellagur vs all event bosses?). S3 is my favourite skill and Aak+Hellagur is my favourite Duo because the effects look absolutely amazing for S3 (my favourite skill for him), especially on Skin. 5-10 was definitely the most fun for me because of that!

Glad you enjoyed such a long video! Hellagur became so much better so I felt a need to just go through every Story Boss straight after his module released (though his damage issue with highly armoured enemies is still the main problem that hasn't been addressed). It's unfortunate that his new module isn't very good at all :(

Dodge is all multiplicative, So you have to multiply them together!

Speaking for myself, I like the original way more than the english dub(wich I think its pretty forced and emotionless)because of the high quality of the japanese voice actors.
