Hellaro is a Gujarati film that won the "Best Feature Film" award and "Special Jury" award at the 66th National Film Awards. This is the first time in the history that a Gujarati film has won the Golden Lotus Award. The film will be releasing on 8th November 2019.
Synopsis -
During the Emergency in India, a group of suppressed women from a village in Kutch, find someone in the desert and their lives are changed forever.

What a movie boss! I watched this in a theater near me today. I went to watch it for the first time in noon and immediately went again in the very next show, made me cry both times. This is the first movie in which I cried in theater. Truely amazing film. As a cinephile and lover of all great films, I'm proud to say that this masterpiece hails from and was made in my own state! 💓🎬

Excellent choreography, costumes and heart touching expression of all the characters makes this movie quite significant. Music and songs nicely weaved in the strong texture. A nice movie in the background of kutch touches the heart, makes us feel something very special for all the women characters of this movie. Love from kerala❤️💐💐

This is the story from Emergency Time in India. Great efforts taken, all the regional cinema should be promoted. Likewise Tamil,Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam , Kannad, Bengali Because commercial as well as Realistically regional cinema is way ahead of all. Support guys And at last I am Marathi..didnt learn but still understood the Gujrati trailer...amezing

ફિલ્મો બનાવી ને જુઠાણા ફેલાવવા માં જ માહિર છો વૈમપંથી કાગળાઓ. આખા ગુજરાત માં ક્યાંય પણ માં-દિકરીઓ ને ગરબા રમવા પર પ્રતિબંધ નથી. ઉલટુ માતૄ શક્તિ ની આરાધના માં આખુ ગુજરાત ગરબા રમે છે. તો પછી આવુ વાહિયાત ચિત્રણ કેમ કરવુ પડ્યુ??

Hellaro is outstanding Gujrati movie. Cinemetography, Low key lighting in Bhungo is excellent. Songs and Garba dance are electric fying evoking . The drum player characters Work is excellent and outstanding. The lead actress did a excellent job. A huge congratulations to the entire Hellaro team.
