If you want the black bars, but not as thick, use custom resolutions 3600X1800, and 3072X1536. This is 2:1 or 18:9 instead of 21:9. The black bars are much smaller, and you still get 1 outstanding picture. Make sure to set your GPU scale to maintain aspect ratio. If you want to turn off the black bars and chromatic aberration. Go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Hellblade2\Saved\Config\WinGDK. Edit the game engine by adding the text below. Click save, no more black bars, chromatic aberration is now off. [SystemSettings] r.NT.Lens.Distortion.Intensity=0 r.NT.Lens.Distortion.Stretch=0 r.NT.Lens.ChromaticAberration.Intensity=0 r.NT.DOF.RotationalBokeh=0 r.NT.DOF.NTBokehTransform=0 r.FilmGrain=0 r.NT.AllowAspectRatioHorizontalExtension=0 r.NT.EnableConstrainAspectRatio=0

@Jakiyyyyy I'm playing using Gamepass, if you're playing using a different platform, I'm not sure where it's saving the game engine and user settings.

15:40 This doesn't look good in movies, and definitely not in gameplay: - Motion blur - Camera zoom - Camera shake - And other effects going on The beginning fight in God of War 3 also has these effects, but you still know what's going on in the environment. The god-tier music in the background truly feels like gods fighting each other in majestic glory - a perfect blend of cinema and gaming. but modern AAA games are like more movie and less gamey

People already found the Unreal engine commands work to change these, moton blur, dof, chromatics, grain and even the aspect ratio. But aspect needs a fov slider still.. its pretty low fov at 16:9 at he moment. Its not in game options but the engine.ini config files you can add commands to.

That's common in any Unreal Engine 5 games. You can always adjust the config file before start launching game for the first time. I wish the dev put the settings option inside the game menu instead of we need to messing around with the config file itself. It's hectic. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@@Jakiyyyyy Yeah true that, although some games config files are encypted or blocked out and still need mods to unlock them, some commands change between versions as well, thankfully the basic common ones usually stay the same.

Is this native 4K? I'm kind of confused since I saw "AMD FSR 3", isn't that frame generation? I'm so happy you are uploading content of this game! I'd love to see how the RTX 4090 and RX 7900 XTX perform at native 1440p

Its just FSR 3 AA, so it is native 4K.

You get 70 with dips and spikes at 1440 native on a 7900XTX but I was recording at 80,000 with OBS when I got my figures. Judging by Bang4Bucks results I was losing 10fps give or take. Even at 4K native If I just shut Afterburner off and played the game at low 30's I am convinced it would be a good experience. I did completely remove motion blur and camera shake. I just don't like them, never have.

I don't know much about psychosis, but I'm pretty sure that my brain doesn't have enough processing power to simulate multiple distinct voices in my head with different emotions and feelings. For example, if I experience a sudden power cut, my brain and subconscious mind will say "fck this day," and that's it. But Senua's brain seems to be 10 times more powerful than mine, and she has mental health issues. I'm confused.

This game is literally a graphical showcase, the gameplay is all just walking around a straight path with a tiny fov, watching cutscenes, and from here and there having a scripted fight against an enemy where you mostly just press attack and dodge. Boring as shit.
