Participation trophies. I understand why people hate them, but funny thing is, as you grow up, there are A LOT of participation trophies being handed out to us. I did 100km cycle tour a few years back, and I trained hard for it, albeit for 3 months. There was no way I could get into the top 1000s, not that I was even aiming for it, but I was super proud that I DID THAT, and it is something I will carry with me for all my life, this is why I love my participation medal. These things are like PS trophies or xbox achievements, you are not trying to be the best, you just trying to be the best person you were yesterday. As you grow up, just showing up, is literally the best thing most people could ask for from you, and as surprising as it can be, this alone can take you quite far in life.

I totally understand Dune Part 1 was world and character building and they'd envisioned a multi-part series, which is perfectly fine. It's just the pacing of it was hard for me to keep engaged with. Also, the name Duncan Idaho will never not make me laugh 😂

I’ve given up on the idea of having any discussion on censorship because like clockwork the second it’s brought up there goes the nuke dropped about kids and stuff when no one is even talking about that. All of a sudden we don’t have an ESRB that’s there to rate material. It’s obfuscation that derails the whole conversation. We can never actually talk about the real reasons behind it. This anti male gaze bullshit. While games have man ass everywhere, gay stuff fine, but if anything even slightly caters to heterosexual men it’s a crime. But we’ll never have that discussion because the second censorship is brought up instantly now it’s about child porn and shit.

You can't say please ignore the multitude of people who advocate for sus shit, simply because I want to pretend like it doesn't exist, because they weaken my argument. That shit will never fly around here. No one is going to ignore that a large number of the people who are anti-censorship, or just pro-sus shit. That is not everyone, but it's funny you are talking about how not everyone is who is anti-censorship is on that kind of energy, yet you put all of us in a box that we don't advocate for. All the other nonsense you said does not relate to the people on this panel, who advocate for having more protagonist they actually want to look at and have gone multiple times in multiple episodes calling out those devs who've made it their agenda to make everyone as ugly as them. Anytime you see a discussion you don't agree with, your brain turns off, and you start running your mouth about shit that does not apply to anyone you're complaining about. Who is really unable to have the conversation here?

If you’ve given up on having discussion why are you in my comment section yapping? Also you were in the chat when the conversation was taking place and said not a word, you waited til the comment section was up so you could be disingenuous without being challenged properly! Very craven of you. l did say something along the lines of “the only time the anti censorship convo bothers me is when it has to do with children being hurt.” Like I added caveats to the conversation but the logistics of the English language seem to be lost on you since that completely flew over your head. Get it together, man. No one hates heterosexual men on a panel full of heterosexual men. These are men who are married with kids who dislike FREAKS 😂

Neither of us support or give credence to any of the foul shit but when we’re talking about Stellar Blade can we fucking stick to Stellar Blade? That’s the subject. Why does it always have to end up on awful shit like exploiting kids? I don’t support it neither do you why is that always thrown in
