I think your right and it's like Alan Wake 2 or Cyberpunk when you turn on all the bells and whistles, it runs at 30 frames a second. But when you trun on DLSS or FSR it jumps to 60 and above.

Just when I think it’s a good time to upgrade my PC, I see something like this that proves that even the 4000 series isn’t worth it. Looks like I’ll be waiting for the 5 or 6000 series.

The "red flag", I get it also. I'm thinking this will be more of a cinematic, interactive, type. Not much combat, but a lot of damn good looking interactive cut scenes. They just will not show or tell this, for fear of any hype built will burn away. Maybe this is just skeptic typing.

Just recently bought a RTX 4060 TI with 16 GB VRAM to run Generative AI models on in (LLM and Stable-Diffusion), since for full speed LLMs the AI model need to be fully loaded into VRAM and you need VRAM for high resolution AI images. Comes in handy that I can play this game with max settings too. :) Shows how the times are changing when gaming is not the primary aspect defining the specs of the card you buy but running Generative AI on it.

My pc is a 3080ti, i9-11900k, 64gb of system ram, 2TB M.2 SSD Gen 4. I wonder if it will do High at 4K.

Never really looked into System Requirements. Just wait til it comes out and review DF, BenchmarKing and all the other KZfaq channels that do quick hardware comparisons and then decide to buy or not. It's similar to hardware, I could see the number of cores, ghz, timings that something has but doesn't always convert to real world performance, the architecture and how those specs are used are more important. Review the benchmarks, make your decision then. These requirements seem similar to Forbidden West and I believe on mid range hardware it runs well. Though that's from Nixxes and Sony whose been hitting it out of the park with PC versions. Not sure whose porting Hellblade 2 or it's Ninja Theory themselves.

Think you nailed it with 'Hellblade 1.5' for gameplay. I'm expecting an evolution on, not something radically different from the first. It's going to be divisive again and that's as it should be for a game aiming for the things Ninja Theory are with this series.

I just installed my new JVC RS3100 Laser Projector on a 150" Screen, the projector can input a true 8k signal and output 8k/60 and 4k/120... it also has 8k upscaling (will upscale the 4k)... Dolby Atmos Running through Marantz 8015... If this game looks as good as you say, I think my head may Explode!! a few days after release I will report back with the MAX I can get.

Thank christ I upgraded to an RX 7900 GRE, gonna run nicely on my 1440p Ultrawide hopefully. CPU requirements are steep too, need a 5600X for 1440p High and need a 5700X for 4K High (Intel 10700K and 12600K for those requirements). This is the problem with the bleeding edge, occasionally you slip and amputate your feet :P

I fully understand people could be upset at how demanding the game will be, fuck Im only on a ryzen 5 3600 and a 3070ti (realllllly need to upgrade my cpu). But that being said, Im perfectly ok with games going in this direction as long as its optimized well. Games these days look half as good as hell blade 2, and get AWFUL fps issues from poor optimization. So if this game is made well and optimized well, I think even lower end pc's these days shouldnt struggle too much to have a decent experience. Im being hopeful because I LOVED the original and Im really excited for this game

Everytime is released a news about hellblade your are "disappointed" this, the 30 fps, always talk about this and no considering about the story, senua, art style, audio and combat. Im sure at 100% hellblade 2 will be loved by everyone do the same with hellblade 1
