Hellblade - Zynbel Monologues & Cutscenes (NO SUBTITLES/MINIMAL SFX)

This game has amazing sound quality so I created a compilation of all the in-game Dialogue and cutscenes, organized by individual characters.
There is NO SUBTITLES and NO SFX (where applicable as some cutscenes have the SFX layered on top of the voiceovers).
All footage here is FREE USE. If ya'll want a downloadable file I could look into doing that maybe just leave a comment. As always thanks for watching!

We are of 1 mind on this. It’s possibly the most motivational monologue I’ve heard in a game. Like everything the Shadow says, it starts off intimidating and dark but turns into what I call a “what I didn’t know I needed to hear” monologue. Sometimes when I’m flailing in life and about to admit defeat, an echo of his voice plays in my head: “Pick up your sword son of Olaf. PICK IT UP NOW”

The directing in this game is fantastic... the way the darkness around Senua bursts into flames when Zynbel begins speaking is just sublime

Is it just me or does the line beginning at 15:10 doesn't show up for everyone? I watched a playthrough of the fight at the sea of corpses and it never showed up for anyone, but it did to me when I played that section. Is it related to difficulty? Maybe how long you keep fighting? It added so so much to the scene, fighting these endless enemies on Hard and being almost killed multiple times, with the soundtrack building up, and Senua keeps fighting despite hearing Zynbel degrade and attempt to demotivate her.

Paulo Augusto so it’s actually a really interesting mechanic, I find to do his voice you’re vibrating your vocal chords to speak, but with minimal airflow being exhaled

@@officialotida6094 plus its enhanced by pitch adjustments and reverb i imagine. since we hear Zynbal speak in his regular voice to Senua in one of her flashbacks

Are these things that Zyndel has actually SAID to his daughter and she is remembering them? Or is it just a phantasm using his voice because his voice had been heard by her during the worst moments of her life, as well as caused by him?
