I decided to recreate the legendary ARC troopers sequence from Genndy Tartakovskys 2003 Clone Wars Volume 2 with a Helldivers spin. This was made entirely in Blender (Goo-engine) in three weeks with the exception of the effects used, those were later composited in Davinci Resolve.

I just wanted to say how absolutely blown away I am at the response to this, making these animations have been a blast so far and I'm learning a lot by doing them. After making animations and studying for a year, this has made it all pay off. It's almost fucking mandatory on the western front with how many devastators and scout walkers you run into. Even down in difficulty 5, it's not uncommon to run into half a dozen heavy devastators with trooper support.

It really is a shame. I know that some people prefer the 2008 Clone Wars but I do feel it's a shame that as time has gone on that the 2003 series was over looked. It's especially a shame because unlike Dave Filoni, Genndy is a HUGE HUGE fan of animation and it shows in his work. But then it was deemed as non canon and all of this other stuff. It's such a shame but at least we still get to see a lot of stuff still being made by Genndy some of it even beating his name like Primal (which was great)

It's such a Small detail but instead of the Helldiver using a grapple to get to the rafters he uses the jump pack. Something the animator totally couldbe just copy pasted but shows how much this guy cares about ths project. Love this stuff!

Also he changed the way the carriers opened the doors, since in the original it opened on the side but here it opened on the back like Pelican-1. Another detail, he changed the laser sound of the bots as well❤

@@darkninjacorporationperhaps making it a load prep 1 press is normal reload 2 presses uses the speed loader, if the speedloader is used you have to press 2 times again to refill the speedloader or else its unusable So if you prep right you got 2 magazines in a pinch

the helldivers aren't meant to be bad ass elite soldiers. Atleast not in reality. The blatant disregard of human life is apart of the setting, helldivers are expendable.

They maybe are expendable and somewhat budget outfitted elite special shocktroopers, but that doesn't make them any less dangerous, badass or effective

Damn people are fast at making animations for Helldivers 2 and I don't think the game has been out that long so this is impressive. Honestly never seen the 2003 verison ofcone wars but I wasnt expecting I'd see Helldivers in the clone wars 2003 style and I gotta say it looks incredible, it's fitting too, did an amazing job, this is one of the best animations of Helldivers I've ever seen.

Paused at 0:01 to like this before it even started. Even just the premise was an amazing idea. Execution: flawless. Liberty: Achieved. The lore accurate explosives from Helldivers and the shot recreation, truly exceptional.
